Description
THE PRETTY THINGS - S.F. SORROW - GERMAN COLUMBIA 1C 062-04 004 This is the 2nd of the 1969 pressings with the larger "ST 33". German pressings were in the year following the UK issue. COVER: Laminated gatefold, some creasing from the edges plus wear on the corners. Open edges are good. There is a short section of narrow tape running along the bottom edge of the rear section. RECORD: There are some superficial scuff and skate marks on the vinyl but none that are detectable by touch. Side 1 has one click at the very start of the first track but then no surface noise can be heard through the rest of the side. During side 2 occasional light surface noise can be heard between tracks and in rare quiet moments. Both sides have been checked and played in full and at sufficiently loud volume using a Citronic Pro PD-1s MK2 direct drive turntable, QSC GX3 power amplifier and Sonus Faber speakers.
