PORCUPINE TREE - tape LOVE, DEATH & MUSSOLINI E.P prog
<p> Don’t know too much about this one, it a demo cassette from PORCUPINE TREE - the band sent it in to us to review here at ORGAN zine back in late 80’s or maybe 1990 - we gave it a good review and it’s been neatly stored away in a box of demos unplayed ever since. There’s no track listing on the cassette cover - the cover itself is black on cream coloured paper, just the tittle and the No Mans Land address on the back
Just had a look on the web and it seems it maybe of interest to you P.T collectors - Here’s what Record Collector magazine said in 1996 - "Tarquin's was released in 1990 and was followed soon after by the short-lived "Love, Death And Mussolini" cassette. That featured another Porcupine Tree favourite, "Linton Samuel Dawson", alongside two tracks that have never been reissued, "Out" and a completely different version of "It Will Rain For A Million Years". Both releases are now extremely rare, particularly "Love, Death And Mussolini", which was limited to just TEN copies
Well if Record Collector is right then we have one of the ten copies here in perfect MINT condition.
