Description

Here is a somewhat rare release by the pre mercury Platters.  This somewhat unpolished group performed 9 singles for the Federal label then moved over to Mercury and became the most successful black group of the 1950s. This record- tell the world/ Love all night was released on the Silver top Federal label in 1954 and was later released with a different flip on the completely green Federal label in 1955.  This record books for $150 in Kreiters 2004 price guide.  Record grades at vg++ with clean labels.  Plays great.  Lucky buyer to pay $4 for postage/handling.  Payment due within 10 days from end of auaction.  Money order preferred, personal check ok but will delay shipping.  Paypal ok too.  As always, full refund given if not satisfied with transaction upon return of record to me.  Good Luck.
