Both the cover & the record are superb! Hard-to-find British pressing from 1992. PJ Harvey's debut album on the independent Too Pure label, distributed by APT. Attractive, unusual illustrated label is a big plus! Finely-printed inner sleeve adds much info about this recording. Polly Jean Harvey vocals, violin, guitar; Stephen Vaughan bass; Robert Ellis drums, vocals, percussion. Recorded at the Icehouse, Yoevil by "Head." Songs written by PJ Harvey. The beautiful packaging was done by Maria Mochnocz & Foothold. The cover has a high-quality finish which has retained its durable sheen. Album has been stored long-term in protective outer jacket for excellent preservation! Wax is in fantastic shape & gives off an excellent reflection. Very well cared for by the owner!! Very well cared for - Still gives off a beautiful glow. No seam splits, stains, marks, cuts, tears, smudges, scuffs, abrasions, bubbles, water damage, cut-out marks, writing, stickers, or color fading. Virtually no corner banging & no ring wear! Unblemished spine is fully readable with no cuts or tears. Deep rich color. Virtually no creases. Labels are perfect with no signs of contact or wear or aging. Sharp cut hole free even of faint spindle scuffs!
DISC - NEAR MINT
We give great importance to grading our items accurately. The original owner took great care of this piece of waxy goodness & stored it well. Except for one tiny inaudible scuff near the beginning of side two, there are no scratches, scuffs, pits, stains, streaks, abrasions, visible needle wear, warping or residue on the disc or dead wax.Very nice reflective sheen on platter surface. Album has been safely stored upright in climate-controlled conditions.
