Description

PIRANA – debut (self-titled) album
Original vinyl release.  EMI-Harvest; cat. # SHVL-603.  1971.

This is the debut album from one of Australia’s most revered early-seventies bands.  Produced by Gus McNeil, the songs here vindicate Pirana’s diverse and creative musical palette, after they were initially dismissed as mere Santana-clones.  Hey, no way!  This set offers some sublime performances and tour-de-force arrangements that will make your head spin!  This is a rare example of prime early-seventies Oz-prog-rock and remains a highly-collectable artefact in this form, too!

This album is in absolutely mint condition.  Playing surface is impeccable, and gate-fold cover is as-new.  Treat yourself!

A worthy addition to any avid collector of Aussie pop/rock history!
