Dulce Como El Azucar (Sweeter Than Sugar) b/w Shake
Original, 1st and only pressing released in 1969 on Disc Jockey, Argentina. This is one of the earliest and rarest Pintura Fresca singles to appear on the local Disc Jockey label (unusual red label indeed!). The B-side contains an electrifying version of Shake, and it was compiled on Neurotic Reactions (20 Worldwide Mod Psych Freak Rock Smashers!), among other contemporary 19 killer tracks from USA, Spain, UK, France, Italy, Germany, Australia (Garden Odyssey Enterprise, Paul King, Procro Magnum, Fire And Ice, Hamilton Streetcar, Ray Sharp & The Soul Set, Les Problems, etc.). Here's a part of the brief review included in the mentioned edition: "... all across the world, a new generation of long haired Mods and flower children dressed up in paisley shirts and psychedelic costumes, dance frantically to obscure 45s dug out from charity shops, record fairs, boot markets & dusty record shops by cool DJs & crate diggers: fuzz & wah guitars, swirling Hammonds, crazy bongos, groovy horns, sitars, psychedelic & funky grooves, early hard rock insanity, raw freakbeat, hippie psych... we present 20 tracks taken from original 45s from the late sixties/early seventies, 100% guaranteed to burn any dance floor. Featuring bands from all across the globe: Usa, Spain, UK, France, Italy, Argentine, Germany, Australia... you'll be amazed when you hear the fuzzed out cover of "Shake" by argentinian band Pintura Fresca...". The A-side opens with Sweeter Than Sugar, an exciting cover version, originally recorded by Ohio Express, with alternate lyrics in English and Spanish. There is NO reserve, so please bid accordingly!

Sleeve: N/A, it comes housed in its original company sleeve.
