Meddle is the sixth studio album by the English rock band Pink floyd, released by Harvest Records in November 1971.  With no material to work with and no clear idea of the album's direction, the band devised a series of novel experiments which eventually inspired the album's signature track "Echoes".  On release, Meddle received generally positive reviews from music critics.  Although in the UK it reached number three, lacklustre publicity on the part of Capitol Records led to weak sales in the US, and a chart position of number 70.  The album up for sale is a 1971 first pressing from Capitol Records, Jacksonville pressing facility.  It consists of 6 tracks with a run time of 46+ minutes.
The cover is in VG condition.  There is mild wear on the corners and mild disc wear that shows on the back cover.  However, there are no split seams and only mild wear along the edges.  There are tears, bent corners, creases or markings on the front and back covers.  The interior covers of this gatefold album are in excellent condition.
The inner sleeve is generic in nature, but in VG+ condition.
The recording has been cleaned and tested with Audacity.  All tracks played through without any skipping of the tracts and very little background noise, even in the quiet spaces between tracts.  Overall the sound is crisp and clear.  The record surfaces show mild disc wear, but no detectable evidence of scratches or scuffs, either to the eye or touch.  The disk surfaces retain their gloss and the labels are clean and intact.  This is a very fine recording and, applying the Goldmine standards for record grading, this album rates VG+/Ex.
