Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here (CBS/Sony Records 25AP 1258) 1975* Japan
Record is still sealed in the factory shrinkwrap. Crisp, clean edges, one small corner bump bottom right. OBI is actually the rectangular sticker in Japanese - not truly a sash, but it has all the pricing and catalogue info that a regular OBI would have. Also has a circular "robot-handshake" sticker on the front (Inside this is the label design as well). Small line in blue ink on front shrink bottom right. *This is the Japanese second issue - I'm unsure on the exact release date - it may have been 1976. This issue was released with both the blue and clear shrinkwraps - this copy is obviously clear (please see photos).
How do you follow a monstrous hit? Some bands crumble under the pressure. Others put out a solid follow-up. Floyd did the latter. Hovering over the proceedings literally and figuratively was the spector of Syd Barrett (literally because he showed up at one of the sessions and watched un-noticed for quite some time). He was the leader and driving force early on and after their massive success - somewhat bittersweet - they kind of "wish(ed)" he was there - to share in it and point them where to go next. After many years in seclusion and suffering the fallout of way too much LSD, Syd passed away just a few days ago, may he rest in peace. This is an outstanding audiophile quality copy of this classic guaranteed to please the pickiest collector. Bid with confidence - I only sell quality vinyl!

I am a serious collector and I don't sell anything that I wouldn't play for my own listening enjoyment. At the same time I'm not going to brag about my grading genius, or hustle people about how no one used profanity in or near the pristine environment that my records were stored in, or how they were acquired from a hermit who only played them once to tape them (unless it's true!). The sub-heading at the top of the page says it all - I sell fine vinyl.
All records are packed professionally in proper record mailers. They are placed in poly outer-sleeves outside the album cover to prevent seam-splits, often in an extra inner sleeve, especially in the case of custom original sleeves which need extra protection. They are then placed in between two stiff cardboard inserts with an additional square of bubble wrap outside of the vinyl side. Edges and seams are then neatly sealed with quality tape for maximum protection. Sealed records are packed with similar care. I do not skimp on packaging - no improvised french-fry boxes stuffed with newspaper from this dealer! All orders are shipped via Priority Mail after payment so that you receive your item, or items in a timely manner. If you win multiple items I will provide you with a shipping discount of $1.00 for each additional LP, $1.50 for each additional Double LP. Outside the U.S. combined orders will be discounted fairly on a case-by-case basis.
