ABOUT MY VINYL ALBUMS

• All of the vinyl I list is from my personal collection, stored vertically in a smoke-free environment. (PLEASE NOTE: Some LP's may have been exposed to pet dander, since we used to have dogs and cats. if you have pet-related allergies, you may wish to bid elsewhere, just to be safe.)
• Some of the LPs being listed have been previously cleaned on the VPI 17F record cleaning machine. I have also cleaned/protected most with Gruv Glide and destaticized with the Zerostat 3.
• Most vinyl I am listing was purchased used & played multiple times. Most will be sonically (more than cosmetically) VERY GOOD or EXCELLENT with minimal surface noise, pops or clicks, even if the cosmetic jacket/vinyl condition is not collector grade.
• I do my utmost to accurately and conservatively grade my LPs on a 1-5 scale - SEE BELOW.

Each LP is graded in three (3) separate categories:
1. JACKET CONDITION;
2. VINYL APPEARANCE; and most importantly....
3. VINYL SONIC QUALITY

• I DO NOT USE THE GOLDMINE GRADING SYSTEM, SO PLEASE REFER TO THE TABLE BELOW FOR MY SIMPLE, BASIC SYSTEM.
• A number from 5 to 1 is assigned to grade each category, 5 being "NEAR MINT or Nearly Perfect," (no vinyl is truly perfect) and "1" being "POOR" (skips/repeats present).
• I will also provide a brief explanation in some cases.
• Sealed, unopened LPs will not be graded and will be sold AS IS without any guarantee, but may be returned if still unopened.

VINYL GRADING SYSTEM

DESCRIPTION
• PINK FLOYD'S "WISH YOU WERE HERE" QUADRAPHONIC MIX/PRESSING, RELEASED IN 1975. THIS COPY IS RARE NOT ONLY BECAUSE IT IS DIFFICULT TO FIND AND SO FEW WERE MADE. IT IS ALSO EXTREMELY UNIQUE BECAUSE AT THE END OF SIDE ONE, AFTER THE CONCLUSION OF "WELCOME TO THE MACHINE," THE FINAL MINUTE OR SO OF SIDE TWO (SHINE ON... PART IX) SUDDENLY APPEARS AND PLAYS AS THOUGH YOU WERE LISTENING TO SIDE TWO!!! You can imagine there were very few of these "FACTORY ERROR" pressings that slipped through quality control and were on the market publicly. I have never heard of another like this in existence. Certainly there must be others in the world, but I've never heard of them. The Quad version will have you hearing guitar and vocal parts you never new existed, while at times certain vocals seems to take a back seat (of course I listened on a 'stereo' system.
• COLUMBIA RECORDS Catalog no. PCQ 33453. Includes original inner sleeve; vinyl is kept in standard plastic lined inner sleeve. Original inner sleeve w/printed lyrics & artwork included.
• JACKET CONDITION: "3.5" / Jacket still in very good physical shape with one or two small creases, and (see photos) some quite noticeable front & back ring wear; lower right corner has mild dent; the open edge has a couple flaws and the upper right corner has a little wear; inner sleeve has one or two slight creases and light impression of the vinyl; no so-called ring wear; please refer below to view the accompanying digital photos of the actual item listed in this auction.
• VINYL APPEARANCE: "3.5" / Vinyl has a few visible surface scratches, still quite shiny; no warpage; label & spindle hole are clean.
• VINYL SONIC QUALITY: "3.8" / Minor surface noise in spots and a short run (5 seconds?) of clicks during the middle of "Shine On.." on Side One. OTHERWISE, SOUNDS EXCELLENT!

** PLEASE NOTE** I cannot be responsible for ANY shipping-related incidents on uninsured items, including damage, loss in transit, theft during or after delivery, etc.
• U.S. DOMESTIC: Vinyl shipping will be calculated by weight and will be shipped either by USPS Media Mail or Priority Mail, your preference. Insurance optional but HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Combined shipping discount offered.
• INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: USPS First Class Int'l (no insurance available) with the cost calculated based on shipping weight. Will also ship via USPS Priority International if you need is shipped more quickly and/or with insurance, but this obviously increases your costs. Combined shipping discount offered.

CUSTOMER SATISFACTION:
If you purchase an LP from me that you judge to be of lower quality level than described here (people follow different grading standards), I will certainly work with you, but the buyer will be responsible for the shipping expense if the record is returned for a refund. When I receive it I will issue a Paypal refund (within 24 hours), on the condition that the LP is in the same condition as when I shipped it.
