EXTREMELY RARE AUSTRALIA VINYL RELEASE, 1983 IN ORIGINAL COVER & PLASTIC INNER SLEEVE. ALL STORED IN ORIGINAL PLASTIC OUTER SLEEVE SINCE NEW.

COMPILATION ALBUM WITH ALTERNATE MIXES FROM PREVIOUS PINK FLOYD  LP's PLUS "EMBRYO" ("PREVIOUSLY UNRELEASED" ON BACK OF RECORD COVER). 

This track had only appeared on a scarce various artists compilation album promoting Pink Floyd's UK label Harvest Records entitled Picnic – A Breath of Fresh Air in January 1970.  

"Embryo," an outtake from the Ummagumma album later became a concert staple in a greatly elongated form.

" MAXICUT - A UNIQUE DISC CUTTING PROCESS
Maxicut is a name we at Studios 301 have applied to several modifications of our Neumann VMS-70 disc lathes. These modifications are contained on two printed circuit boards which replace the Neumann SV-66-V2 and TE-66 cards.
Maxicut is a process that allows us to cut lacquers at a significantly higher level, typically 6-8 dB (normally 1-2 dB), without the normal tracking problems that less expensive turntable/cartridge units usually exhibit in trying to track these higher levels .... 

Maxicut accomplishes this with no loss of the program signal .. " (I.E. LOUDER!!)
