Vinyl still retains a good sheen and plays through with very strong audio throughout apart for some light background in the intro to side A and occasionally in the quieter bits this has excellent audio overall especially due to its considerable age. There are light hairlines under the lamp and fine spindle wear in places, a couple of light surface scuffs and some light surface overall. Nothing feel able throughout and I’d say this is a pretty good issue overall of a highly sought after LP. Labels are clean and complete with no stickers or writing and light spindle wear to the centres. Original black poly lined inner sleeve is complete with no splits and just light storage wear overall. Outer gatefold sleeve has no splits or price stickers, just the company sticker which has imprint of Jules in biro on it which is hard to see anyway as it’s black. There is some faint storage wear and some inner gatefold storage rub, some very light scuffs to the corners and lightly in places around the edges with some small faint edge surface creases to the sleeve. All in all in pretty solid shape for its age. The posters just have their fold marks and have no blu tack or pin marks, the stickers have their backs and are also unused.

To summarise this is a very good all round example of a highly collectable and sought after record.

All records are properly play tested through headphones unless otherwise stated or still sealed.. All vinyl is also inspected under a bright halogen lamp and carefully graded.. I use the standard U.K. record collector grading system appreciating that opinions differ.. I never add more than one + or - to my gradings and never grade a record as M unless it’s bought new by myself and still sealed. Even then an M graded record is extremely rare in anyone’s grading system.

Vinyl is graded first then outer / inner sleeves, posters inserts etc. Vinyl is always separated from sleeve in transit. Record will come in a polythene protective sleeve with a new anti static inner sleeve when the inner is printed or a new one is required. Posted with two record stiffeners in sturdy vinyl mailer. Vinyl is always posted signed for, insured with proof of postage also retained. Any international postage is also always signed for, tracked and with healthy insurance.

Vinyl can be combined, up to three thin spine or two wide spine per mailer. Spine size is generally stated in my listings to give buyers an idea of potential postage combining. I always provide new mailers / packing material etc. If you wish to combine postage please just drop me a mail stating your intentions thank you..

THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON

1973 U.K. A2 / B2 press with the solid blue triangle labels, G&L gatefold sleeve, black poly lined inner sleeve and two complete posters with two stickers too.

Very strong audio overall with occasional surface in the intro and quieter bits, some light surface wear overall, nothing feel able and light overall wear to the sleeve with unused posters and stickers.

Almost impossible to find in mint condition these days and many will be over graded anyway. This is a very good solid all round example with strong audio and age related wear as to be expected for almost 50 years and can be picked out in the photos.

Rare collectable and highly sought after original Pink Floyd LP..
