1969 uk Harvest 1st press SHDW 1. Rare early uk first pressing. No EMI logo boxes on the labels, has the ''Gramophone Co LTD'' label text, this copy also has the rare early ''Ernest J. Day'' cover with the word "London" misspelt at the back/bottom/right corner, as cover states: "Printed and made by Ernest J. Day & Co., Ltd. Londen.". This is a really excellent early uk first pressing that plays and sounds absolutely superb throughout all four sides. All pictures provided are of the actual item for sale. CONDITION EX to EX++

All four sides are in excellent clean playing condition, both discs have a excellent glossy sheen, there are only a couple of very light surface marks that have no affect on play at all, there are no bad scuffs, marks or scratches to cause playback problems, and so all four sides play and sound absolutely superb throughout all tracks with no lessening in the sound quality, there are loud no clicks or pops and barely any background crackle, even between tracks, this double album plays and sounds just about perfect and will definitely not disappoint. All four first press labels are in excellent clean condition, there are no marks or wear. The front/back laminated 'Ernest J Day'' gatefold sleeve is clean and has very little ageing/wear or creasing, this cover has no real bad faults at all and so grades a nice excellent condition, as already stated, this is a rare very early 'E J. Day' cover with the ''Londen'' misspelling, not sure how many exist with this error, but they don't come up for auction very often at all.

A couple of kind ebayers have spotted and informed me about something about this copy of 'Ummagumma' that I did not. That being that the label of side-4 has the the word 'Grand' misspelt as 'GAND', again this error only occurred on the very early first pressings.
