Label Conditions: Both very clean and attractive with only very light and faint spindle marks and no wear around the hole area.

Rarity & Info: Very rare and highly elusive. I honestly believe this to be the rarest UK record to include material by Pink Floyd. The rarity of the early Floyd albums is well known and documented, but they did sell quite well and only really rare in top conditions. This somewhat obscure soundtrack album, Peter Whitehead’s first commercial film, is a different matter however, and this is almost a ‘lost’ mono record. A documentary centred around London in the latter part of the mid-60s. It includes a totally different performance of ‘Intersteller Overdrive’ with Syd Barrett, here edited in three parts from the long version that was later issued on CD. It also features a rare early song by folk legend Vashti Bunyan, famed for here masterpiece ‘Just Another Diamond Day’ that also failed to sell. There and other songs by The Small Faces and Chris Farlowe that are mixed between interviews and dialogue from famous names of the time including, Michael Caine, Mick Jagger, Julie Christie, Andrew ‘Loog’ Oldham and Lee Marvin. This is a highly prized and sort-after album by Floyd fans especially. Seldom ever seen and few surface with a mono record that looks little played, this is a mighty find. Using the term ‘rare’ in its true context, this is simply that and if this is needed for your collection, do not lose it, the very first time I have ever seen or had this one.

Cover Grade and Format: EX/Mint and in stunning condition on both sides (small crease to front bottom left corner with original flip-back in perfect shape! Front cover also still includes the original price tag! Made in England but uncredited.
Edges: Look practically unworn.
Spine and Text: Solid, straight, uncompressed with all text perfect and unworn. I consider this a huge bonus too, unprotected spines usually suffer major rubbing and character loss.
The Inner: This includes its original plain white unlined inner which includes the text ‘Patent applied for’ and ‘Made in England’. This is superb EX condition and has aged little with no creasing
Vinyl Condition/Visual Grading: EX/Mint A superb visual copy that is super clean, shiny, intense black and very solidly pressed. A copy with minimal plays on all the evidence and hardly a noteworthy mark or blemish to be seen. A truly exceptional mono record and we all know what these usually are found like. Visually a super record that should please most-all collectors again.
