HERE WE HAVE A SUPERB!!! UK HARVEST (SHDW 411) FIRST ISSUE!!! (November 30, 1979) OF PINK FLOYD'S OUTSTANDING 1979 DOUBLE LP, "The Wall" WITH ONE OF THE VERY FIRST AND VERY RARE MATRIX SETS - A2/B2/A3/B2!!!!
THE LPs ARE HOUSED IN THE ORIGINAL FIRST ISSUE GATEFOLD SLEEVE AND COME COMPLETE WITH THE TWO ORIGINAL LYRIC INNER SLEEVES (for all first issue criteria for the sleeve and inners, see below)
THIS WAS ONE OF THE FIRST COPIES TO HIT THE SHOPS IN NOVEMBER 1979 AND AS ONE OF THOSE VERY FIRST COPIES THERE IS NO ACETATE 'STICKER' (see below for an explanation)
A STUNNING DOUBLE LP AND MASSIVELY RARE WITH ITS A2/B2/A3/B2 MATRIX SET!!!!!!

THERE ARE SOME SPECIAL CRITERIA WHICH MARK THIS COPY OUT AS A FIRST ISSUE:
Front Cover: Gatefold sleeve. Printed by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. The sleeve is cream colored, not true white (as with later issues), with the brick outlines in purple and not completely aligned to the bottom edge. The cover is made from a thicker cardboard construction than on later printings and is made of ONE SINGLE THICK PIECE OF CARD with only ONE join on the top edge. The ONE single join is a sure way of making sure you have a first press sleeve. There is also no barcode on the back cover (unlike the later mid-80s pressings)
Inside Cover: The credits on the inside cover do not list the members of Pink Floyd. It only says "Words and Music - Roger Waters."
Inner Sleeves: Heavy cardboard inner sleeves, printed by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. with rounded corners and a nine-inch thumb notch.
Acetate "Sticker": The question of the front 'sticker' is quite problematic. First press copies do come WITH and WITHOUT this litle piece of plastic. Pink Floyd were extremely fussy over their sleeves and Roger Waters wanted ABSOLUTELY NOTHING on this sleeve apart from the bricks - NO TITLE/NO BAND NAME - NOTHING!! and copies were sent out as intended. The record shops were however, not impressed and demanded some kind of information for their customers so the album was almost immediately supplied shrink-wrapped with a 'sticker' under the tight shrink-wrap. *********AS THIS IS ONE OF THE FIRST COPIES EVER SENT OUT TO THE SHOPS IN NOVEMBER 1979 IT IS MORE THAN LIKELY THAT THIS COPY NEVER CAME WITH AN ACETATE STICKER********

LABELS: The record labels are in SUPERB condition with NO wear, NO writing and very little evidence of any spindle marks!!!!  I WOULD SAY THAT THESE RECORDS HAVE HAD VERY LIGHT PLAY ONLY!!!! 
VINYLS Visual: Both records lies perfectly flat on the turntable and ALL the surfaces have their original DEEP, LIKE-NEW, GLOSSY SHEEN. On close inspection under bright light I can see only the LIGHTEST of sleeve removal hairline marks which have NO audio consequence whatsoever!! TWO BEAUTIFUL LOOKING VINYLS!!!!
VINYLS Audio: The audio is absolutely OUTSTANDING!! - CRYSTAL CLEAR, VERY strong and VIBRANT!! Tremendous sound quality!! This album sounds AMAZING over headphones with all of its ambient textural sounds - cries, whispers, conversations etc!!!! There are NO scratches, barely ANY clicks or pops (hardy ANY!!!), NO jumps, NO sticks, and NO surface noise AT ALL!!!!  - truly AWESOME and very, VERY rare for a 1st pressing!! The sound quality is simply SUPERB!!! with NO groovewear and NO distortion!!!! This copy has NOT been overplayed AT ALL!!!! This must be graded EXCELLENT+, if not better, for audio!!!! This record is NOT overgraded in ANY way as I use STRICT RECORD COLLECTOR grading standards!!! A BEAUTIFUL COPY!!!
SLEEVE: The original 1st press gatefold cover is SUPERB!! CLEAN and BRIGHT with NO edge wear, NO marks, and NO unwanted writing!!!! A Beautiful CLEAN, SHARP and CRISP sleeve!!! The spine is PERFECT with of course nothing written on it!!!!!
INNER SLEEVES: The 2 lyric inners are also in SUPERB condition!!! with NO splits, NO marks and NO creases. BEAUTIFULLY CLEAN!!! The LPs are now housed - and will be posted in - new inner sleeves (along with the originals, of course!!!) as I believe inner sleeves should be used as inserts ONLY as they nearly always cause damage to the LPs over time, especially the thick card type, like these!!!!

PLEASE HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I USUALLY TAKE QUITE A FEW SO YOU CAN GET A CLEAR INDICATION OF EVERY DETAIL OF THE ITEM
THIS REALLY IS A STUNNING COPY!!! HARDLY PLAYED AT ALL!!
IMPOSSIBLY RARE AND HARD TO FIND WITH THE A2/B2/A3/B2 MATRIX SEQUENCE AND IN AS BEAUTIFUL CONDITION AS THIS - VERY SCARCE!!!!!!!
