Description

I am parting with some of my treasured LPs.  For the finest of collections---Here's an early STILL SEALED pressing of THE PIPER AT THE GATES OF DAWN, Pink Floyd's FIRST LP.  It was largely written by Syd Barrett.  This pressing appears to be the 2nd US Stereo issue released in 1967, and pressed at the Capitol Records Scranton PA plant.  It has a number 14 in the bottom right and track 3 is written incorrectly.  It's supposed to be "take up thy stethoscope and walk", but on this version it says "my" instead to "Thy".  It is probably on the ORANGE LABEL, but I can't be 100% sure. THIS LP IS IN AMAZING CONDITION, flat as a pancake, STILL ORIGINAL FACTORY SEALED, and stored perfectly.  There is an original punch hole top right, which may indicate it was a promo.

I love original pressings because I feel every LP is of it's time and place. The vinyl, and record pressings are all from that moment in time, and no re-pressing or re-mastering will ever make the sound better for me.  IF YOU LIKE THIS LP, PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER LPS FOR SALE NOW ON EBAY.
