The Final Cut A-1U / B-4U
On offer here is an early pressing of this often underrated LP. The gatefold has the original sticker and the vinyl remains in its original black inner.
'The Post War Dream' on Side One is Ex and the remainder of the side is Ex+
'Get Your Filthy Hands...' on S2 is Ex- and the remainder is Ex+

Visual grading
Under a strong bright light the vinyl is visually in great condition with only a handful of faint hairlines. It is obvious this vinyl has been hardly played as there are only a couple of spindle lines on Side One and none on Side Two. It retains that lovely glossy lustre of new vinyl. No scratches anywhere.
Play grading
'The Post War Dream' starts with hardly any lead in static but then does have a handful of clicks in the middle section although still plays very clearly. 'Your Possible Pasts' has a couple of clicks at the beginning and then plays with excellent audio and only very light static here and there. 'One Of The Few' has superb audio with great clarity. The remainder of the side has very clear audio with only intermittent background static and perhaps 3/4 light clicks. Not perfect but it remains an excellent and better than so many.
The first track on S2 does have a few clicks but again the audio plays clearly. 'The Fletcher Memorial Home' fares better and plays with just a touch of static and excellent clarity. In fact this can be said for all the tracks on this side and 'The Final Cut' in particular plays with excellent quality. 'Not Now John' has no issues and plays loud and clear and 'Two Suns...' ends the LP with wonderful audio and barely any background noise. An underrated album, albeit an almost 'solo' one!
Gatefold cover
The gatefold is in excellent condition with only minor shelf wear. The edges and spine are in great shape and only the corners have a small amount of rubbing. There is a small scratch type mark just above the sticker on the front cover. The inside of the gatefold is in superb condition and the back cover is also extremely clean with only a couple of tint marks. Overall though this is a very clean cover with the opening edge also being very clean.Original inner
The original poly-lined black die cut inner has no rips or tears, just some creasing here and there.
