I will declare a lower amount on the customs form for all countries so as to avoid/decrease high import charges. However, in the case of the EU all purchases are subject to VAT which eBay collect at point of sale.
I recently purchased a stunning Pink Floyd collection where all the records and covers have been so well preserved by the previous owner. I am selling the majority of them during this auction.
Pink Floyd : The Final Cut A1/B2 1st Press
This first pressing plays to a fantastic standard that is rarely found today. The sonic quality is stunning on both sides and there is just one static click at the start of S2 that is all. There is literally no other background the clarity is amazing! The vinyl is visually stunning and has hardly ever been played, perhaps once or twice at most. Crystal clear audio, it does not get any better than this! A FINAL UPGRADE pressing in my opinion.
The cover is in superb condition with hardly any wear. It often doesn't 'keep' well but this one has been very well cared for over the years as per the rest of the collection. The original black inner is also in fantastic condition.

Visual grading
The vinyl is in beautiful condition with an immaculate jet-black glossy sheen and looks brand new no exaggeration. There are no marks or scratches and I cannot locate any hairlines either, it is stunning! The run out grooves are pristine and the labels have only one faint spindle trace on each side. As perfect as it gets!
Play grading
From the very start 'The Post War Dream' plays with incredible clarity. The quiet 'intro' is faultless and the opening vocal is just as impressive also. It continues to play with genuine quality with no underlying static and obviously no clicks or pops. This is Mint start to this underrated album.
'Your Possible Pasts' plays to the same 'high end' standard with no interference. Another track with a number of quiet sections and yet the clarity is stunning, a couple of very light static ticks that is all. I cannot overstate just how the superb the audio is although 'as new' is a pretty good description. Mint-
'One Of The Few' and 'The Hero's Return' both show just how little this album has been played. They both play with immaculate audio with not even a single dust tick. In fact judging by the sonic quality here it may not even have been played at all! Both grade as Mint they are faultless.
'The Gunners Dream' is absolutely STUNNING right from the very first groove. The piano intro is 'as new' and from then on plays with a outstanding clarity and depth...and no interference. This is pure audio perfection - you expect a little background with vinyl but there is literally nothing here that gets in the way of the audio. I have no hesitation in grading this as Mint it is a beautiful version.
This clarity continues into 'Paranoid Eyes' where you can even hear the cat on the intro! I counted three miaows! The intro and first vocal play perfectly and it proceeds in the same precise way. To the final note this is 'as new' and again Mint is deserved. What a side!

The opening grooves on 'Get Your Filthy Hands Off My Desert' again play with a clarity that is so rare and the intro just has one static click type sound. The rest of the track plays as per S1 with no background whatsoever. I would say the intro is Near Mint- but the rest is Mint for sure.
The intro on 'The Fletcher Memorial Home' plays so clearly with only a couple of dust ticks. From then on there are no negatives - no ticks, clicks or pops and only a couple more dust ticks. Another Mint track.
The very quiet 'Southampton Dock' also plays with sublime quality. No need to elaborate this is Mint in every way.
'The Final Cut' plays with superb clarity, power and depth from the first note to the last with no interference. This album is 40 years old next year so for it to play as well as this is so impressive and this is another track that deserves a Mint grade and yes I have played it in full! There is no background at all.
'Not Now John' plays with great power and depth throughout with no interference and no distortion. Mint
'Two Suns In The Sunset' ends this superb album with imperious quality once more. From start to finish it played without any background and Mint is again an easy grade to give. It could not play with better clarity.
In summary this first pressing is a FINAL UPGRADE time warp classic for sure. Even on a new vinyl you would expect a little background and yet here there is just one static click at the start of S2. The clarity and warmth of the audio is 'as new' and of course there are so many quiet passages which makes the sonic quality all the more impressive. Audio does not get better than this! Complete with a stunning cover and inner sleeve this would grace any collection.
The Gatefold & Inner Sleeve
The cover is in superb condition with barely any wear. The top edges have only a couple of tiny 'rubs' and the bottom edges have only a little more. The wide spine is in fantastic shape and the corners are still very clean with hardly any wear although there is just a little more bottom right of the front cover. The opening edge is pristine with no handling wear and the front cover is unmarked and still has the original sticker which remains in perfect condition. The back cover is just as impressive although does appear to be very slightly flattened next to the spine, a minor thing only. The inside of the gatefold is immaculate with no marking - a stunning example overall.
The original poly-lined black inner sleeve is in superb condition with only minor creasing.
Play tested on my Pro-Ject Essential III Turntable // B & W 684 Speakers
