THE DIVISION BELL A2/B2 (original 1994 release)
On offer here is the now very rare original release on black vinyl of this under-rated LP, not one of the bootleg reissues that are so prevalent today or the more recent 20 year official anniversary release.  Their last 'real' LP :-)

Visual grading
I have looked at the vinyl under various strong lights and it is in superb condition considering its age.  There are no scratches and only a few of the faintest hairlines visible probably caused only by sleeve removal.  They are nothing to worry about at all and quite honestly it is visually stunning.  One of the best I have seen in a long time and I also could not see any spindle wear suggesting it has been hardly played, if at all for that matter.
Play grading
'Cluster One' obviously is a very quiet track and here there is only a slight hint of intermittent static on the first half.  It plays superbly well all the way through but the second half is sublime with no interference.  I heard just one click and this is a quality start on a record now over 20 years old.  Apart from one faint click at the beginning of 'What Do You Want From Me' it plays perfectly with stunning audio.  Again 'Poles Apart plays as Mint except for a tiny bit of static at the beginning of the instrumental section.  The remainder of the side simply plays as Mint the quality really is of an exceptional standard and probably the best first pressing I have heard.  'Wearing The Inside Out' is a real highlight and is a stunning rendition.
There is minimal lead in static to 'Take It Back' and it then plays with a wonderful depth and resonance with just very light static in a couple of the quieter sections.  Again 'Coming Back To Life' has slight static during the intro but really is not intrusive.  Even new vinyl can play with a little static!  To be honest I often mention static and perhaps I should not so often as here for example it is so much in the background it is not intrusive in any way.  The remainder of the song plays practically as Mint with wonderful clarity.  The rest of the side has audio of equal quality and 'High Hopes' in particular ends the LP with stunning sound.
Gatefold cover  
This gatefold in excellent condition and only has a little shelf wear.  Whilst the edges and wide spine are very clean the edge on the top of the back cover has a very small amount of wear over 3cms but is minimal I hasten to add and has not worn through the cover.  There are a handful of minor creases and slight pinching on the bottom corners and a little handling wear on the opening edge.  This does sound like a lot of negatives and I only mention them to be complete in my grading which my regular buyers appreciate.  It is still a very clean cover and better than so many found today and hopefully the photos do it justice.  There are no markings on it anywhere.   Lyric inner
The lyric inner (with 10cm thumb notch) is in great condition with only very minimal rubbing on a couple of corners.
