From my collection a Rare a March 1994 UK 1st Press of Pink Floyd's Division Bell on the UK E.M.I label. Complete with gloss printed wide spine gatefold cover, thick printed paper lyric inner sleeve and the extremely rare Andy's Records Promo plastic carry bag advertising both The Division Bell and The Dark Side Of The Moon.

CONDITION:

VINYL SURFACES VISUALLY: Excellent

Side one has a single fine sleeve removal wisp line, side two a small localised area of again superficial sleeve removal lines, noticeable in bright light, but in no way audio affecting.  

LABELS:  Excellent  

Both Labels have one or two hardly noticeable spindle trace lines.

COVER:  Excellent 

The gloss printed gatefold has some slight print rub to edges, the wide spine is completely readable. The cover has no creases from handling and is found in generally clean condition, please see photos below.

INNER SLEEVE: Excellent  

Sleeve has one light crease top right hand corner, no splits or any other damage. 

VINYL AUDIO QUALITY: Clean Sounding Throughout Excellent plus to Near Mint

Generally the album plays brilliantly throughout on both sides, clean sounding, not a hint of distortion, quite passages have very occasional light tick from static, these are brief and hardly noticeable and not to be considered as background or surface noise.

Please note all records advertised are from my personal collection, and so their condition is known to me, despite this I still inspect everyone both using a spot lamp and in normal light levels, this way can I be sure of giving potential purchasers the correct visual grading information. Audio quality, all my vinyl advertised is played through fully on both sides before advertising. I check on the rotating turntable to ensure the vinyl is flat.

I do not sell dull overplayed records, which have jumps, sticks or distortion. You would be purchasing this record from an avid music collector and someone who, like yourself fully appreciates the sound quality only attainable with vinyl records.

THE RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM

MINT: The Record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and extra items are in perfect condition. Records advertised sealed or un-played should be mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra Items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover suffers from folding scuffing of edges, of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc.

POSTAGE & PACKING

To prevent damage to sleeves during postage and shipping I remove the vinyl from its original inner dust sleeve, the vinyl is then housed in a new poly-lined sleeve. The Cover Vinyl and Inner Dust Sleeve are placed within a protective plastic outer sleeve before packing into a Record mailer or mailing box depending on the record. I use either bubble-wrap or cardboard stiffeners to package the record in the best way to ensure you will receive the record in the same condition it left me.
