Description
*Vinylman* Welcome - More rare auctions this week & lots more great lp's in my shop. Postage discounted on multi-wins, £1 per extra Lp to the UK, £2 EU & £3 elsewhere. Good luck if bidding.
Up for grabs, a fisrt press Mono issue Pink Floyd "Saucerful of secrets", SX 6258, XAX3633-1 1R/XAX 3634-1 1G, original KT stamped first press black/blue label.
The front cover is pretty clean, a few creases, rounded worn corners and a small pin hole top right corner. Rear sleeve flibacks all intact, with creasing, soiling/wear to unlaminated rear sleeve, mostly on the open edge by the track listing.
The vinyl itself has a few light marks, but is basically in very good condition. Still bright and glossy looking. I can't feel any of the marks. Sound is still bright, with very little background. Side one first track has some background for the first few seconds and some light background between tracks. The run-in to the last track on side two has a few crackles. Otherwise no pops, clicks, etc of note, and no skips or jumps. You should be very happy with the sound on this one, although you can tell from the spindles on the label it has been well played, even the quieter tracks sound really good.
The labels are both clean, no tears or marks, quite a few spindles on both.
Needless to say this is a rare record, but don't buy it if you're looking for a mint copy. If you want a copy to play and enjoy, this one has lots of life in it.
