You are bidding on another essential UK 1st pressing from my mostly Nr Mint UK Psych/Prog collection.  Here we have a STUNNING ORIGINAL UK 1971 Harvest/EMI stereo (this was never made in mono) 1st Pressing of this all-time classic LP by Pink Floyd!!! However, what makes this record so very special is that it is the Original 1971 UK stereo 1st PRESSING on the Yellow/Green Harvest Label with 'Made in Gt. Britain' centre label text!!! Further, it comes complete with its ORIGINAL 1st Press Garrod & Lofthouse textured gatefold sleeve and it's original 1st press EMI Logo Inner sleeve (NR MINT!!)!!! The cool 1970's quality pressed thick and chunky vinyl is in visually and aurally stunning condition and shines with a 'just pressed' look and feel, it really looks as if this record came off the press yesterday!!! Although there are still a few of these LP's kicking about, you will NOT find another early UK Press in EX+++/NR MINT condition throughout!!! This LP is in Stunning throughout!!! The Classic yellow/green Centre Labels are in stunning MINT condition with NO Tears, NO Peeling, NO Scribbles and NO unwanted writing of any kind, they have just the faintest trace of spindle lines that can only be seen under very strong light!!!  The gramophone rims are also mint!!! The quality pressed thick+ chunky vinyl itself is simply STUNNING!!! With NO Scratches, No scuffing, NO marks, NO warping or blemishes of any kind at all save for one or two very, very fine hairlines (almost invisible) that can only be seen under VERY strong light!!! I am very pleased to state that this is a record that also PLAYS FANTASTICALLY!!! It has NO jumps, NO pops and NO hissing!!! The thick quality pressed chunky 1970's vinyl looks and feels great (it is very heavy!). I would have to grade this vinyl as a strong EX+++ at least even by my own strict grading standards (most would grade it as straight Nr Mint/Mint!!!)

The classic 1st press Textured Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold sleeve is also in absolutely beautiful condition with  NO Tears, NO Scribbles and NO unwanted writing of any kind!!!  It is completely blemish free!!! I really cannot emphasise how nice this sleeve looks - it is easily one of the best examples I have ever seen!!! What is so amazing about this sleeve is that it has kept ALL of it's box shape and still has MINT sharp corners and edges!!! It is almost perfect and is one of the best examples you are ever likely to see of this amazing sleeve!!! The sleeve lies perfectly FLAT with NO RING WEAR!!! This sleeve easily grades as Nr Mint!!! Impossible for this fragile textured un-laminated sleeve!!! Of course, the LP comes with its Original inner sleeve! It has the correct EMI box logo and is in crisp, clean and un-blemished MINT- condition!!! Please check out our feedback and bid with confidence as this is a no reserve auction with a very low starting price!  This is seen by many as one of the best progressive record ever made -  and complete copies in such stunning condition are as such is in very high demand today. If you have never heard it, you will not find another copy that looks or plays more pristinely than this- it will blow you away!!! If you are a collector/investor, the price of this record will just rise and rise. An absolutely essential (and very rare) record to own!!! This is a very special record in this kind of condition - don't miss it!!!

I have tried to show you the record from all angles - there's nothing to hide!!! If you are not sure of anything just email me - I will be happy to help. Postage ... Hazey Jane has absolutely NO hidden surcharges; the price you win is the price you pay, just add the relevant postage, it's as simple as that! We always combine postage so if you win more than 1 auction you save money on postage costs! We will only ship to non-UK countries via Airmail - we do not use surface mail, it is way too slow and thus increases the risk of records being damaged during transit.

A little note about insurance - Please read carefully... If the value of your record(s) is over £30, your invoice will include an insured option. Being the responsible adults you are, it is entirely up to you to take this up  - we strongly advise you to do this but will not hassle you about it. You either add the required insurance or you don't. If you do add the required insurance and your record is lost/damaged, you will get a refund. If you don't add the required insurance and your record is lost/damaged, you will not get a refund. Can we be any clearer? I think not.

Refunds & Feedback ... Please read this carefully ... We try to give you the best quality examples of rare records available. However, there will always be somebody out there whose expectations far exceed UK record collector grading standards.  If you are in anyway unsatisfied with your record or our grading of it please refer to the UK Record Collector Grading Chart very carefully BEFORE emailing us. We strictly adhere to it and will only offer refunds (minus the postage AND our eBay costs) if we are satisfied that we have fallen below UK record collector grading standards. This will very rarely, if ever, happen. We will not be impressed with buyers disputing our gradings without even bothering to check the UK record collector grading standards chart first - you have been warned ...

Buyers who continually Haggle, Whine and Moan to try to decrease the price they won their auctions for will be blocked from bidding on future auctions and can toodle off down to HMV or Virgin where they can harass the counter staff there.

We will always leave feedback upon receipt of feedback. In an ideal world we would like to leave feedback as soon as the record has been shipped but due to feedback blackmail in the past (i,e, ",,,I want a partial refund or I will leave negative feedback") we have opted to take this measure. Contact must be made within 3 days of winning the auction. If payment has not been received after 10 days a non paying bidder alert will be placed. If payment is then not received within 7 days Negative feedback WILL be left and the buyer WILL be given a strike by eBay. Thanks for reading.

On 04-Aug-06 at 21:42:30 BST, seller added the following information:

Please note that this is the true 1st pressing, this record was never made without EMI boxes on the labels. The best way to identify this as the rare 1st press is to note the 'Gramophone Co....' text around the top rim of both labels. You are bididng on the rarest 1st pressing here - good luck.
