This 5-day Auction is for PINK FLOYD SHADES OF PINK - The Legend of Pink Floyd 6 LP Record Box Set.   The Source Record label from NBC Radios Young Adult Network, # NBC 84-34.  This is the complete 4-day broadcast (including commercials) on NBC radio from August 31, through September 3, 1984.  Complete with pink box and the 3 original DJ play sheets.

I purchased this in 1985 from a friendwho worked at NBC and had managed to get his hands on this.  All copies were supposed to be destroyed after the broadcast.  It has been played exactly TWICE all the way through on my high-end VPI Scout turntable with Argo Lyra cartridge.  The box is in good to excellent condition, but does have some tape on the corners.  It was spray-painted pink sometime after he sneaked it out of the office, in order to disguise the plain black box (DUH!  Who would notice a PINK box???  LOL).

This is a super-rare Pink Floyd box set for avid Pink Floyd collectors.  You might look for years and never find another one (I've only seen one other in the past 23 years!), so if you want it, bid to win it.  Don't cheap out or you'll be kicking your butt for a very long time.

Shipping charges will be the EXACT amount charged by the carrier.  The amount in the ebay shipping calculator at the bottom of this listing is an ESTIMATE ONLY, but should be within a reasonable amount of the actual total.  If you want to get an estimate, please contact your shipper using my USA Texas 78717-4400 address and using one box that's 14" x 14" x 3" and weighs 4.5 pounds.  By placing your bid, you agree to pay the final exact charges, so it is your responsibility to know what those will be.  I have never, and will never, charge the winner of any of my auctions any more than the actual shipping charges.
