Description

 Pink Floyd called "Relics"  ORIGINAL 1971 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Starline label!!!!  

Record NM  Cover VG++ 

I bought this LP myself sometime in the 70's before there was an ebay or internet from a  UK auction. 

I also own the master tapes which were used to press this record which are not for sale but you will see a picture of it from EMI with the note "copied from Master" which is in the EMI Vault. 

Note that the date on the reel is for the later pressings.

I have many rare Pink Floyd Relics and Artifacts for sale that I will list in the future.

Here is some Gobbledy gook  about why this is the first pressing

 THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE - AND IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT TO ALL LATER PRESSINGS!!!!  AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!!   HERE ARE THE  DIFFERENCES BELOW:-

1) THE LABELS HAVE 'GRAMOPHONE COMPANY' EDGE TEXT (LATER ONES HAVE 'EMI RECORDS' INSTEAD!).

2) THE COVER IS FULLY TEXTURED (LATER ONES ARENT!)

3) THE LABELS HAVE THE MISCREDITED 'WORLD COPYRIGHT LTD' LABEL CREDIT FOR 'BIDING MY TIME' (ON LATER COPIES THIS WAS CHANGED AND CORRECTED!)

4) THE RECORD HAS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS A-1 B-2 MATRIXES (THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS MATRIX ENDINGS - LATER ONES HAVE A-1 B-3 INSTEAD!)

 THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT AT ALL - THAT THIS IS THE 'EARLIEST' & RAREST 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP THAT YOU CAN POSSIBLY GET!!!!

the ORIGINAL Starline UK 1st Pressing from 1971 and is in AWESOME condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl.  The Cat. No is SRS 5071 on

 the ORIGINAL 1st Press Starline label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos!)!!!!
