PINK FLOYD - Radio Broadcast Vinyl LP- BBC Transcription disc 1983
I have found this in my late father's record collection and have never seen such a recording. I have tried to research it online but without much success other than finding a track list. It purports to be a BBC Transcription Services radio show release from 1983. Made in England and restricted only to authorised broadcasting stations. As a Pink Floyd fan I'm convinced it contains early Pink Floyd recordings made during the "Piper at the Gates of Dawn" era when Syd Barrett was still in the band although the tracks seem different versions of those found on early releases.

Issued in a generic BBC Transcription Services sleeve.

Label states: "Use expires 30.9.88 unless contracted otherwise. Annual subscription permits continued use for duration of contract." The numbers on the label are 130780-S & 130781-S In Concert-280 (i) CN 1324/S ? BBC 1983. The pressing is on pale purple vinyl.

Even though it is named "In Concert", it does not contain any actual live recordings. 
I have played both sides through and the album plays well although the mono recording quality is not great. The generic BBC sleeve is a bit battered on the spine (see photo).
By all means research this album before bidding but it seems quite a rarity to me.
