Description
You are bidding on a stunning original 1967 mono copy of The Piper at the Gates of Dawn by Pink Floyd. This was printed in the US under the Tower record label and is numbered T5093.

Vinyl Condition
Near mint condition with small lines from being taken in and out of the sleeve that do not affect playback.
Playback Grade
No issues with playback. Sound is crisp, clean, and has the feel that only mono can give. There is hints of low level noise in the quieter parts.
Cover Condition
The cover is still in its original shrink wrap with the original sticker!
There are no cuts, tears, stains, writings, drawings, or coloring on the cover at all, over all in superb shape!
There are ring markings present on the cover itself, however they are not very heavy at all.
Their are two tears in the shrink wrap, one in the top center on the back that is about the size of a quarter
and one on the top left corner that is about 3/4 of an inch long. Both tears can be seen in the photos.
Label Condition
Stunning!!! Side 1 and Side 2 are in magnificent shape as can be seen in the photos.
GRADING DESCRIPTIONS
RECORDS:
- Sealed: Store stock new
- Mint: Like new or near new with only one or two small insignificant defects
- Near Mint/M-: Extremely nice. Would be Mint, except for a possibly a couple of light hairlines or scuffs
- VG++: Still a very nice record with all or nearly all of its original gloss but may have a few more light, surface marks, hairlines, needle tracks or the like
- VG+: A nice, but used record that may have a series of light scuffs or scratches. It probably plays with a some pops
- VG: A well-used record that still should sound OK when played, but may have moderate surface noise, pops, and even a possible skip.
- VG-: A very well-worn record that plays through, probably has skipping and snap, crackle, pop
- Good: Probably will play through but with much in the way of surface noise, pops, crackles, skips etc.
- Fair: You’re getting this record just to own.
- Poor: The sky’s the limit as far as condition in the negative sense
- I will give greater weight to the condition of the front cover than back cover when assigning an overall grade
- Stickers – I will state if there are any
- If I write that a cover has a punch-hole, I’m talking about a small punch-press type hole
- A factory saw mark is a narrow cut in the perimeter of the cover, could be anywhere and vary in length from 1/2” to 2” at the most.
