Labels: Excellent - no writings, doodles or stickers - see scans. KT tax code on side 2 label.
These are the earliest 1st pressing labels i.e. they are Black Columbia labels with silver text, and a blue "Columbia Records Magic Notes Trademark" at the top, and a blue "Columbia" in the center. Underneath the blue "Columbia" it says "Sold in U.K. subject to resale price conditions. See price lists." At the bottom of the label, it says "Made in Gt. Britain.".
Text around the bottom edge of the label starts at 10 o'clock and says: The Gramophone Co., Ltd. All rights of the manufacturer and of the owner of the recorded work reserved. Unauthorised public performance, broadcasting, and copying of this record prohibited.
Later 1st pressing labels used a slightly different font and the layout of the song titles/credits were altered. For example, the songwriting credits for Interstellar Overdrive on side 2 are all along one line on earliest pressings whereas on later pressings the writer credits were moved under the song title.
Vinyl: Play tested. Looks Fair+ to Good only with a lot of feathering and mostly non-feelable scratches but plays much better than it looks. Plays VG overall with some tracks playing Good only but others playing VG+. 'Intersteller Overdrive' sounds absolutely fantastic on vinyl - it never sounds as good on CD. There is some moderate crackle throughout and the occasional click/pop but no skips or jumps. These thick 1960s first pressing slabs of vinyl really do stand the test of time. Might benefit from a professional clean but is unlikely to ever rise above a VG+ overall rating.

Gradings......
Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.
Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratches.
Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and more significant scratches.
Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump.
Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc
Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
