Description

Welcome to the part sale of my own record collection. As many record collectors may already know I used to run a vinyl shop on here for many years and over that period put aside some gems for my own collection. It has come that time to break down some of it, so coming in the next month or so...Lots of rock, Pink Floyd, Who, Queen, Kinks Etc, many rare and fine collectables. I will try to add daily or every other day until they are gone,

This is an auction for a LP by Pink Floyd, The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn.

Released on Columbia records in 1970 and has catalogue number SCX6157. This is the repress with a black and silver label. Matrix...YAX 3419-2....YAX 3420-2.

Condition: The sleeve has some light dirt marks on the rear, the usual small lamination creases seen when tilted to the light, the mouth edge has two finger indentations and light buffing can be seen to the very corners, otherwise in fine condition, nice spine and crisp sleeve. Graded at a conservative EX.

This comes with its original 'Patent' inner sleeve which is in fine condition.

Both labels come in superb condition, perhaps one or two tiny spindle trails seen on side two under the closest of examinations. The centre hole is perfect on side one, side two has very, very light buffing to the top pert of the centre-hole, being fussy but accurate, the black labels do display two finger marks on side two, again only seen under closer examiantion. This looks as though its seen a deck a couple of times only and on one side.

The vinyl retains its brand new shine and looks immaculate. I can't fault this vinyl, no marks, scratches whatsoever, it looks clean and new. graded at Near Mint.

Please check my other listings, Zombies, Odessey & Oracle, 1968, Mono, A1/B1 in collectors condition on my Ebay now. Pink Floyd, their first 5 singles and Floyds LPs on my Ebay this week most in tiptop condition. Please check my listings.
