Cover: E J day 1st pressing laminated front and unlaminated rear with triple flip-backs. Flip backs nice and sound with no missing pieces. Nice clear readable spine. The front has light laminate creasing only and rates as Excellent. There is some edge wear at the base. The rear is VG+ as there is a small name and some initials in top right corner. Has the 'File under Popular: Pop Groups' text on top flip-back. Comes with a black & white EMI 'ads' inner sleeve which is in Excellent condition.

Vinyl: Play tested. Heavy duty 1st pressing vinyl. No skips/jumps. Side 1 looks VG and plays VG+ with some minor crackle and occasional pops. Side 2 looks and plays VG+ to Excellent. This is a 45 year old piece of vinyl and still sounds great if you don't mind some light to moderate (in a few places) background crackle. Better than most you are likely to find. Might improve even more with a professional clean to reduce the static. If you haven't heard 'Interstellar Overdrive' in stereo in vinyl played very loud - then this is an experience you need to have.

Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.
Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratches.
Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and more significant scratches.
Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump.
Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc
Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
