PINK FLOYD - OMAY YAD - TMOQ - BLUE VINYL LP
FOR AUCTION THIS WEEK IS A VERY DESIRABLE TMOQ (TRADE MARK OF QUALITY) PRESSING OF PINK FLOYD'S OMAY YAD. THIS LP IS PRESSED ON BEAUTIFUL BLUE VINYL. HERE'S A GOOD DESCRIPTION: ORIGINAL HEAVY GREEN (GREENER THAN PHOTO SHOWS) CARDBOARD COVER (GRADE - VG++). THIS COVER SHOWS ONLY THE SLIGHTEST SIGNS OF AGE WEAR. ALL SEAMS ARE VERY SOLID; NO WRITING. LP COMES WITH INNER SLEEVE. THE LIGHT GREEN PICTURE INSERT IS GREAT! IT HAS NEVER BEEN ATTACHED TO THE COVER AND HAS ONLY A COUPLE OF LIGHT CREASES (TOP RIGHT CORNER). THE VINYL GRADES AT VG+. THE VINYL HAS GREAT ORIGINAL GLOSS. UNDER BRIGHT LIGHT THERE ARE SOME ULTRA LIGHT SURFACE IMPERFECTIONS BUT NOTHING THAT AFFECTS THE PLAYABILITY. THE LP PLAYS THROUGH GREAT WITH ONLY THE SLIGHTEST STATIC BACKGROUND NOISE. STEREO QUALITY IS WONDERFUL. THE MATRIX NUMBERS ARE FOR SIDE ONE - 1830-A AND FOR SIDE 2 - 1830-B. We grade all vinyl according to the Goldmine standards which are as follows:
Mint (M) - "These are absolutely perfect in every way."
Near Mint (NM) - "it looks like it just came from a retail store and was opened for the first time." NM records are shiny, with no visible defects. Writing, stickers, or other markings cannot appear on the label, nor can any spindle marks from someone trying to blindly put the record on the turntable.
Very Good Plus (VG+) - These records may show some slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratches that do not affect the listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK. Minor signs of handling are OK, too, such as telltale marks around the center hole, but repeated play has not misshaped the center hole. There may be some very light ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticed.
Very Good (VG) - These records have more obvious flaws. The lack most of the original gloss found on factory-fresh records. Groove wear is evident on sight, as are light scratches, deep enough to feel with a fingernail. When played, a VG record has surface noise, perhaps even an occasional audible light scratch, especially in soft passages and during a song’’s intro and ending.
Lesser grades such as Good (G), Good Plus (G+), or Very Good Minus (VG-) will be addressed at time of listing.
Please note: We have had numerous emails requesting international shipments. We will alter our shipping policy for international bidders and we will try to accommodate any winning bidder for shipments outside of the U.S. However, please remember that all funds are to be paid in US Dollars and preferably by Paypal. Please keep in mind, the customs documents for any international shipment will reflect the true customs value. Please do not ask us to declare a lower value than the winning bid amount of any item. As for US bidders, our policy and terms remain as usual. We accept payments by money order/cashiers check, personal checks and Paypal. Items paid for by personal checks will be shipped 10 days after receipt of check. (This is to allow time for check to clear your bank). Shipping charges are based on weight and destination and are calculated using either the US Postal Service rate calculation or UPS rate calculation. We are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged merchandise, therefore we strongly suggest insurance on all packages. We do not add fees for packaging. Please do not use ebay’s checkout option. At auction's end, we will email winning bidder requesting your mailing address so freight charges can be calculated.
