PINK FLOYD Meddle (Harvest SHVL 795) RARE French 1st Pressing MINT UNPLAYED!
RAREST original very first French pressing of Pink Floyd`s album "Meddle", released on Harvest Records (October 1971).
"Echoes", "One Of These Days", "Fearless", need I say more? A rock classic, one of the Pink Floyd`s very finest efforts and a work for the ages, so to speak.
"The album is one of the Floyd's most consistent explorations of mood (...) and it stands as the strongest record they released between Syd Barrett's departure and Dark Side Of The Moon", wrote Stephen Thomas Erlewine for allmusic.com.
GRADING:
MINT COVER, in absolutely perfect condition. This copy comes to you through a time warp, straight from the vaults. Please see photos for details.
- Very first French pressing with fully laminated outer sleeve and unlaminated inner gatefold.
MINT RECORD, bought all those years ago and played exactly once. No wear whatsoever.
- No "EMI" stamp on perfect, completely spindle-free labels.
- The matrix stamps in the run-off grooves read "SHVL 795 A 21 M6 28202" and "SHVL 795 B 21 M6 2820 22", respectively.
- This copy of "Meddle" is hereby certified to be an original, very first French pressing, as issued in October 1971.
