HERE WE HAVE AN EXCELLENT, UK HARVEST (SHVL 795) FIRST ISSUE (November 1971) OF PINK FLOYD'S BREATHTAKING "Meddle" LP - IN BEAUTIFUL CONDITION

PRESSED ON QUALITY HEAVYWEIGHT VINYL WITH DEEP CUT GROOVES WHICH DELIVER ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING AUDIO, THE FIRST HARVEST LABELS HAVE THE "The Gramophone Co Ltd." RIM TEXT (first issues ONLY on later presses this was replaced by "EMI Records Ltd."), AND THE LP IS HOUSED IN THE ORIGINAL, FIRST ISSUE, FULLY TEXTURED (inside as well as outside), SOFT BACKED GATEFOLD SLEEVE "Printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd." FACTORY SEALED ON THE LEFT SIDE EDGE and DATED CODED '7110' (1971 OCTOBER)
THE SET COME COMPLETE WITH THE ORIGINAL HARVEST, POLY LINED, COMPANY INNER SLEEVE (which is now a bit of a rarity in itself)

A SUPERB COPY OF THIS WONDERFUL LP WHICH PLAYS BEAUTIFULLY THROUGHOUT AND IN ALL HONESTY I DOUBT YOU WILL FIND ONE WHICH SOUNDS MUCH BETTER

Inner Sleeves: Issued with a Harvest Records Company inner sleeve
Labels: Yellow-green Harvest label. At the bottom of the label, it says "Made in GT Britain."Text around the top edge of the label starts at 10 o'clock and says: The Gramophone Co., Ltd. All rights of the manufacturer and of the owner of the recorded work reserved. Text around the bottom edge of the label starts at 8 o'clock and says: Unauthorized public performance, broadcasting, and copying of this record prohibited.

ACCORDING TO THE INFORMATIVE AND EXHAUSTIVE PINK FLOYD ARCHIVES WEB SITE THIS MATRIX WAS ACTUALLY ISSUED ON A DEMONSTRATION PRESSING AND SHOULD HAVE THE 'Factory Sample/Not For Sale' STICKER ON THE LABEL (which this copy does not have but there is an indication (light marking) on the Side Two label where a sticker may have been present and removed by the original owner - impossible to say in all certainty)

LABELS: The 1st HARVEST labels are in GREAT condition with NO wear, NO writing and moderate spindle traces only really evident when angled under a bright light
VINYL Visual: Both surfaces retain their original DEEP, GLOSSY SHEEN and have only light hairlines but no other marks
VINYL Audio: SUPERB - CRYSTAL CLEAR, SHARP, STRONG and VIBRANT SOUND - BEAUTIFUL RICH AUDIO. Pink Floyd's soundscapes cover an AMAZING dynamic range from the loudest crescendos to the almost silent ambient details which makes it difficult to find early pressings which will play without excessive click/pops and/or surface noise but this copy plays BEAUTIFULLY throughout (even the quiet middle section of 'Echoes' plays as quietly as vinyl possibly can). There are NO scratches, NO skips/jumps, barely any clicks (really, hardly ANY) and the album plays up to an extremely high standard with BEAUTIFUL CLARITY, NO groove-wear and NO distortion. Must be very critically graded EXCELLENT+ and NOT over-graded in ANY way as I use STRICT RECORD COLLECTOR grading standards (please refer to my feedback and 'about me' page) (even the quiet middle section of 'Echoes' plays as quietly as vinyl possibly can). There are NO scratches, NO skips/jumps, barely any clicks (really, hardly ANY) and the album plays up to an extremely high standard with BEAUTIFUL CLARITY, NO groove-wear and NO distortion. SLEEVE: The original 1st issue GATEFOLD cover is also in SUPERB condition. CRISP, CLEAN and FRESH. There is virtually NO edge wear to speak of and only some light corner 'bumping'. The textured surfaces are CLEAN and UNRUBBED and all the text on the spine is CLEAR and SHARP. BEAUTIFUL 1st PRESS SLEEVE
The original Harvest inner is also in GREAT condition with NO splits
