Title: In Concert - BBC Transcrition Disc.(2LP)
Cat no: 88-10
Record condition: The vinyl is in VG++ condition. There is a mark which affects the first 30 seconds of A1 with a click on each revolution, but thereafter it settles down and actually has less crackles than many other transcription discs of the time.
Sleeve condition: The sleeve is a generic card sleeve with Pink Floyd written in pen. Inners are two placcy bags. Insert.........see notes!
Label condition: Ex / Ex
Notes: A very rare BBC double transcrition disc for the Westwood One radio networks. It features Pink Floyd live concerts from 1970 and 1971 as well as the usual adverts and cheesy chat!
Tracks inclue Echoes, One Of These Days and Embryo (see pics for full listings.
The Echoes version is a pre-release promo and this is confirmed on the original cue sheet which is all present and correct and in VG+ condition.
As this is for radio broadcast, the segments that share sides do not run into each other. The DJ has to manually cue each segment.
Please bear in mind, sometimes there are only one or two and sometimes a few of these discs out there, but I have not yet found a way to tell how many exist. If you have any ideas, I would love to know.
I have seen one of these before but it did not have the holy grail DJ's cue sheet. This is another highly collectable and very rare piece of Floyd history. As is the case with these gems, I will start this incredible piece of history at 99p and let you enjoy the ride!
