PINK FLOYD Embryo PICNIC on Rare Orig 70 UK Harvest 2LP
Both records have been vacuum machine cleaned and test played in full on quality hi-fi. My grading is based on the UK record collector grading system. I will gladly combine postage on multiple items so check out my other records. Thanks

Details:- . Very rare original UK Havest 1st UK pressing (June 1970) of "Picnic: A Breath Of Fresh Air" - The labels double LP sampler most famous (and sought after) for the Pink Floyd track "Embyro" (which was not available on vinyl anywhere else at the time and the set was almost immediately withdrawn at the request of Pink Floyd who didn't want the track released). Some great prog,psych and folk tracks from Harvest artist on these two LPs. Both records housed in the original front laminated sleeve 'made in england' designed by Hipgnosis
Vinyl Condition:- NEAR MINT Hard to get a better example than these two LPs. Both look as if they have been barely played at all. Superb sound quality throughout. Gleaming vinyl with nothing more than the most faintest of sleeve brushings when viewed at an angle under very bright light..Record two has a slight warp but all this does is cause the tone arm to rise and lower a couple of mm decreasing in effect as the record progresses. This causes no problems at all and no effect on audio. Full refund is always given anyway if buyer has any problems. This record has been fully test played before this auction on my Garrard 501 prototype deck, Rogers E40a valve amp and Quad ESL 57 Electrostatics
Sleeve Condition:- EX No serious wear at all. Some very mild feathering down the spine but this is insiginificant. Some very faint mild speckling inside the gatefold but again this is nothing serious. Laminate retains excellent shine. The spine is sharp and fully readable. There are no splits or edgwear. On the front is the original Harvest rrp shop sticker.
Label Condition:- NEAR MINT Only one very small faint spindle mark. All labels look almost as new, no wear or writing and very clean indeed

Grading below is as stated from UK Record Collector. I also use +/- for records that fall somewhere between a grade
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
