THEY WERE THE FIRST EVER HEAVY VINYL AUDIOPHILE PRESSINGS. IT'S A TRUE COLLECTORS DREAM TO OWN ONE OF THESE MASTERPIECES. OUTER BOX SHOWS SOME CORNER WEAR AND THE PROTECTIVE PLASTIC WRAP FROM MFSL IS SPLIT AT THE TOP BUT STILL TOTALLY SEALED. HAS THE ORIGINAL PRICE STICKER STILL ATTACHED FROM THE 80'S LAST COPY FOREVER THE UHQR BY MFSL WERE THE MOST TECHNOLOGICALLY-ADVANCED RECORD CONCEIVED. THE OVERALL SONIC IMPACT IS STARTLING, FEATURING EXTREMELY SPECIFIC IMAGING, GREATLY EXPANED FREQUENCY AND VASTLY IMPROVED CHANNEL SEPARATION. A recording from the Victor Company of Japan for state of the art audiophile pressings. This MFSL LP was pressed in Japan before Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs eventually pressed their Lps in the United States. The LP was Half-Speed Mastered with the Ortofon Cutting System from the Original Stereo Master Tapes. This MFSL LP has a special static free, dust free inner sleeve and heavy-duty protective packaging. This LP has been Out of Print for 25 years and a bonafide audiophile‘s collectible. DARK SIDE OF THE MOON, originally released in 1973, is one of those albums that is discovered anew by each generation of rock listeners. This complex, often psychedelic music works very wel because PINK FLOYD doesn’t rush anything; the songs are mainly slow and mid-temp, with attention paid throughout to musical texture and mood. [M-] Near Mint. Near perfect, played rarely if ever.
[VG++] Almost like new with only superficial signs of use that dont affect play. Only well cared for records will grade out to VG++.
[VG+] Vinyl may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or light scratches that dont effect the sound
The cover may have slight signs of wear.
(VG) Surface noise will be noticeable, but will not overpower the music. The cover may have writing or tape.
(G) This album can play through without skipping, but there will be significant surface noise and scratches. The cover may have splits, writing, tape, or stickers on it.
