Description

Item: Original & complete 1st UK pressing of Pink Floyd - The Dark Side if the Moon LP from March, 1973. Solid blue 1st press labels. 1st press 'midnight blue' tint sleeve that seals on the front panel as per 1st press sleeves. This sleeve also has the round purple title sticker on the front which is the 1st version 68mm larger sticker before being reduced in size for later pressings. The set is complete with all inserts - both posters, both 'permanent' postcard stickers and the original black poly-lined inner sleeve. All parts are original.

Condition: Lovely condition all round, vinyl is glossy and clean with no scratches or marks visible in good natural light and only hairlines under strong direct halogen spotlight - very nice! The visual grades EXCELLENT! The playback also grades EXCELLENT! light static during some quite passages, no skips or sticks obviously, no repeat clicks or other defect. There is also no factory skip on this copy of track B1 'Money'. The label on side 2 has a crack down the middle most likely a pressing fault. The 1st press 'midnight blue' tinted sleeve with large purple sticker grades EXCELLENT! also. Light storage wear only. Both posters have no tears, folds, tape marks or pin holes NEAR MINT! Both postcard stickers are unused NEAR MINT! The black poly-lined inner has no splits, the lining is fully intact, no tears or marks, EXCELLENT! A great condition, complete 1st UK press set. A great looker and a great player. Thank you.
