Description

• Disc condition: VG+ Vinyl is flat to the platter no dishing or warps. Both labels have moderate spindle wear. Roger Waters credit on first few tracks is written in capitals and corrected for later pressings. A similar error is on side 2 with Waters and Gilmour in capitals. Visually it looks in VG+ condition with some light hairlines and a few light scratches. Audibly we note at the run in of side 1 there is a bit of crackle and then followed by a short "hiss" and then a light click, then this crackle subsides (all this on the run in before any music or sound) and at the first crescendo before the track comes in properly there is a little distortion in one channel then this goes. "Money" has been checked and does not skip although the intro has a little crackle in one channel. Over all, it plays nicely, with some crackle during the quieter sections and occasional click here and there. This is what you would expect for this grading. There are certainly parts we would consider EX and equally a few parts of VG. Over all it's VG+.

• Sleeve condition: EX Matt printed gatefold sleeve in really nice shape and has "Dark side" sticker on the cover. The first left hand panel is glued for this copy and the hue of the sleeve is blue/black (or dark blue) identifying it as correct to this version.

• Matrix/stampers:  (machine stamped) SHVL 804 A-2 3 OA SHVL 804 B-2 1 MG (could be MC)

• This is the rare first pressing with solid pale blue labels. It comes with correct black polylined paper inner and comes complete with 2 posters and 2 Fasson Fasprint permanent stickers. So here's your chance to own the unique holy grail of Pink Floyd records, the solid blue triangle edition!
