Please read carefully:
I have once again after a very long break to list hopefully a varied selection of items from a very large collection that I have been collecting over many years. .

Now I’m not here to have an open debate or argument with anyone in the Ebay community, whether they be a professional or amateur seller or collector but over my collecting years there is always an element of surface or background noise/sound with audio reproduction on vinyl reproduction, I have purchased sealed audiophile heavyweight pressings that have suffered from some surface noise and in the very odd case were totally unplayable. I have purchased sealed records straight from the factory and these have suffered some degree of surface noise, it’s inherent in the pressing of vinyl and the way it is produced.
All used vinyl has at least light marks and surface scratches which are always visible when viewed under a bright light, my advice would be to stick to CD if you are after total blackout silence. Myself I believe surface noise adds to an emotional experience of reality which can not be matched by CD only my opinion

All the records (LP’s and 7 inch singles) that I intend to put onto Ebay for sale are 2nd hand either my own or have been given to me and have in many cases been played, some more than others. But I will always highlight this fact when grading, if the vinyl has surface marks or other defects these will be pointed out also.

I’m very sorry but I don’t always have time to play grade every single item, and the majority of my grading is done by purely visual means, so please view my feedback and you will see that I try to give the best account on the condition of any item I put up for auction.

This is my hobby and not my profession.

I will though play LP’s, and singles that are very collectable to get a better insight to the playing condition of the item being sold for auction.

Now I accept that the above may differ from any winning bidders perception of what I have graded. I cannot always vouch for whether every record plays all the way through in total black silence with no noise. If you have any doubts then please email me or again just view my feedback.

PINK FLOYD: The Dark Side Of The Moon Ultra rare original 1973 UK 1st pressing 10-track LP with SOLID BLUE PRISM Harvest labels & silver lettering. The vinyl has A2/B2 matrix numbers in the run-out grooves. This copy is complete with two l arge fold-out full colour posters & two unused stickers. SHVL804


Pressing Information: Pressings that use A-2 / B-2 lacquers have minor sound quality issues, particularly during the song, Money. Some copies also have a skip pressed into the grooves during the song Money. Such issues were corrected with the A-3 / B-3 cuttings, with the exception of the peak level distortion during the clocks at the beginning of the song Time (the MFSL UHQR LP is the only vinyl pressing without such distortion).
Copies of the Dark Side of the Moon LP with solid blue triangle labels without any stamper or mother numbers in the matrix are not U.K. releases. All U.K. EMI releases will have some sort of stamping code in the matrix.

This is an authentic beautiful copy of the classic album by Pink Floyd.

Release Information: Original stereo issue with a very dark blue cover, and a solid light blue triangle (prism) on the label with "The Gramophone Co., Ltd." text on the edge of the label.
Description: Gatefold cover.
Front Cover: Very dark blue with prism.
Back Cover: Inverted prism. In the upper right corner, it says: " SHVL 804, (IE 064-05249), stereo."
Inside Cover: Black with heartbeat and lyrics. "Printed and made by Garrod and Lofthouse Ltd." in blue text in lower left corner.
Cover Sticker: Some copies had a round purple title sticker on the cover.
Inner Sleeves: Die-cut black polylined inner sleeve with patent numbers and "Made in Great Britain" in silver at the bottom.
Inserts:
Pyramid Poster: Blue pyramid. Matte or glossy.. There is no catalog number on the poster.
Group Poster: A six-pane group shot poster in landscape style with "SHVL 804" in the bottom right corner. Matte or glossy.
Stickers: Brown and yellow graphics stickers with "FasPrint permanent crack back patented" on the back.
Brown Graphic Sticker A brown/dark blue/yellow/green self-adhesive sticker with Dark Side of the Moon graphics. Matte. The backing paper is tan with 45 degree angled diagonal stripes of dark brown from the top to bottom, and "FasPrint Permanent," and "Crack Back Patented." on the paper. There is no catalog number on the sticker.
Labels: Black Harvest label with solid light blue triangle (prism).
Text around the top edge of the label starts at 10 o'clock and says: The Gramophone Co. Ltd. All rights of the manufacturer and of the owner of the recorded work reserved.Text around the bottom edge of the label starts at 8 o'clock and says: Made in Gt. Britain Unauthorised public performance, broadcasting, and copying of this record prohibited.
Played on my Elite Rock, Ittok tone arm and Blue Point Special front end with Lavardin and Impulse H6 speakers . The sound was dynamic and no distortion was heard. There was very good sound staging every instrument could be heard with depth and placement. There was mild surface noise heard in the lead-in and out of tracks. Side 1 there were some ticks heard before the music really breaks, track 3 there was a small jump.

THE COVER: The cover shows minor wear to the edges and corners. There are no signs of splits writing or damage..
I have graded the cover in VERY GOOD condition.

THE BACK COVER: As the front with no splits, tears
or writing to the surface of the back cover, and has been graded in VERY GOOD condition.

THE INNER SLEEVE: Original Black inner but unfortunately the poly lining has since gone missing.

THE VINYL: The vinyl LP of this album still retains a beautiful shine to both playing surfaces. There are surface marks when held under a strong light. There is scratch on side 1 which runs with the groove. I have graded the LP as VERY. condition.


THE LABELS: Side 1 label shows spindle marks which show that it has been played. VERY GOOD condition.

MATRIX NUMBERS: The matrix numbers machine stamped into the run-out grooves are.

I always try to be very careful and honest when grading and use the Record Collecting Magazines grading guidelines.

Delivery to a UK address will be sent First Class Recorded Delivery only.
Delivery to a European or Worldwide address will be sent via Air Mail with Insurance or International Signed only.
I will always obtain proof of postage this is by receipt from post office and can be emailed as a jpeg .
I will always send items by First Class or Airmail signed for unless the buyer indicates differently please email to discuss what best suits you.

Any item/items over £32 will only be sent with insurance unless you want to take the risk. If you do not wish to take insurance then the item will only be insured up to £36. I will not be held responsible for any uninsured items that either go missing or are damaged if insurance is not taken.

PACKING:

ALL Records are packed separately to the sleeves to avoid seam-splitting stiffeners and padding will be added where necessary.
