Description
Pink Floyd-Dark Side Of The Moon LP UK 1st pressing with filled blue triangle,A2B2 matrix. Harvest SHVL 804 from 1973.
This is complete with all bits as follows-Gatefold cover with Dark Side sticker and closed on one side-Disc in original black inner-two original posters with SHVL 804 on the one-
two stickers with 'Fasprint/Crackback' rear still unpeeled.
Condition is as follows:Stickers as new-both posters fine;one with Floyd as new-other excellent though signs of blue tack on rear mean not as new!
Black inner fine.
Original gatefold cover fine-clean with no writing etc.Just general signs of age ega little ring wear on the back sleeve/one lower edge just beginning to open in a small area/a few little dents etc.
Basically the cover is fine but not top grade-grades around VG to VG+.
Original disc is fine.Having just given it a good professional clean it is a notch up to when I first checked it out.Very good condition-a couple of marks with a few more in artificial light but a good clear
sheen and any affect on the sound is literally a few seconds of light click from 2 of the marks that one can see normally.A really nice play overall and a great piece of production for an
LP from 1973,even more impressive on this first pressing.The Floyd were always streets ahead on sound/lights etc.at this time and for a few years before!Clean labels with spindle play
virtually contained in the inner circle.Grades at around VG+.
Basically a very good complete copy of the 1st UK press of this iconic album.Not all top draw but everything is well reasonable and some parts certainly are, so a nice complete set.
And I noted it still hovering in the top ten sellers nearly 40 years after its release-amazing.
