PINK FLOYD. DARK SIDE OF THE MOON. 1ST PRESSING. SOLID BLUE TRIANGLE. 2 POSTERS, 2 STICKERS. EARLIEST A2/B2 MATRIX. VG.
From time to time I help a local hospice sell some of its donated LPs. I clean the records and listen to them all the way through so that I can accurately describe their condition.
My listening equipment is a highly revealing Roksan Xerxes/Artemiz/Shiraz turntable, pre/power amplification and Castle speakers.
Played on my system, this LP grades Very Good (although I am possibly being a little generous as I am selling it for charity - so please read the full description). Side one has some minor background noise to the run-in groove and quiet 'heartbeat' intro. There is also some minor background noise between tracks and to some quiet parts. There are some clicks to the quiet end of track 2. Side two is the same and has a few clicks between tracks two and three. Overall I'd say it just about merits a Very Good grading. It has both posters and both stickers. The unlaminated gatefold cover is in excellent condition although I don't believe it to be the original cover as it's definitely black and not midnight blue. The record has a plain white inner sleeve. A great opportunity to own a pretty good example of this highly collectable LP.
