Pink Floyd Animals LP First pressing with A-2U and B-2U matrices and wide spine Cat. no. SHVL 815
Vinyl is in beautiful near mint condition with barely a mark on it. Under strong light a couple of very light sleeve removal scuffs can be detected but nothing more. Near mint Labels have no writing tears or stickers. A couple of light spindle marks. Barely played. Near mint Audio is lovely, clean and crisp with no sticks, jumps or loud pops. No distortion with only minor surface noise. A great example. EX+ Sleeve is also in fantastic condition, the best I have seen. No shelf wear. Opening edge very sharp. Wide spine solid with no wear whatsoever. It looks as if I have just peeled off the shrink wrap. A stunning example. Near mint Original lyric inner also looks near perfect with very little signs of handling. However it has a inch long split on one side obviously caused during transit as some point. Grades as VG due to this split.
Overall a stunning near mint example of this record. You are very unlikely to find better.

Gradings;
Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc..
Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
Poor: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc.. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
Bad: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
