Description
For sale here are 2 copies of the quite wonderful "ANIMALS". An album recently starting to receive the acclaim it should have had at the time! One copy is the genuine UK first press with the A-2U and B-2U matrices. The other is a live recording from the concert in Berlin in 1977.
Both albums are in lovely condition. The original 1977 release seems to have seen very little play. The live album has never been played. Removed from its cover purely for the photographs. All vinyl is sent out in a new anti-static inner sleeve and a new heavy duty polythene outer cover, all in the price.
Vinyls have been visually graded only, but have no marks worthy of note.
ANIMALS:-
UK first pressing. A-2U / B-2U matrices. Vinyl gleams as new. Very little, if any, signs of play. Visually graded excellent. Inner sleeve great with a small slit forming to one edge. Grades near excellent. Cover is great condition. Some light shelf-wear only. Spine is wide and in almost perfect shape. There is a small "ding" to the top right corner on the front. Nothing of great concern with this nice example. Grades excellent.
ANIMALS IN BERLIN 1977:-
Unplayed, as previously mentioned. Vinyl, cover and inner are in "as new" condition. Vinyl gleams like new. It would! Nothing detrimental to mention at all.
Also included in the sale is a couple of postcards relating to the album. One from the Royal Mail depicting the stamp with Battersea power station on it, the other a postcard of the same power station. Also, a new gel pen with animals logos on it and a coaster with the iconic album label design on. New and unused, all of them.
I post worldwide with the exception of Russia, Belarus and Ukraine. Postage cost within the UK is priced at £5 for 1st class signed for delivery. This is less than what it actually costs me. Overseas postage will obviously vary on destination. I have put down a blanket price to cover all. This will be amended once I know where the winner lives. As a rough guideline, postage within the EU normally costs between £14 and £16. Outside of this area, expect charges to be between £20 and £25 depending on destination. I am not responsible for any import charges that may apply on delivery.
Please read my feedback to confirm that my packaging is second to none and that all fragile vinyl arrive in perfect condition. I do not charge for packing materials as so many seem to. I pay for all packing materials myself.
