Hi, and welcome to "psych_out!" auctions!!!

I specialize in 50's, 60's, and early 70's records of almost every genre - Jazz, Blues, Psych, Folk, Soul, Rock, Pop e.t.c and everything in between! I've been dealing records for years, but i'm new to the ebay game so i'd like to tell you all of my intentions. I travel all over the UK hunting out the VERY BEST records I can find. Obviously, 90%+ of the ones I can find are completely trashed from the hard living ways and the rock 'n' roll, drug and booze fuelled debauchery of all the wild parties of the times, but the golden 10%? I offer them to all of you serious record collectors out there!!!

I'm going to start by listing 20 LP's a week every Friday and Saturday, all timed to end 10 days later on Monday and Tuesday night. Hopefully after a while, i'll be able to step things up a gear or two in good time. I'll only ever offer THE BEST, MOST AMAZING, MOST IMPORTANT, VERY RAREST UK 1ST PRESS ORIGINAL RELEASE RECORDS I can ever possibly find!!! I won't insult you with later 2nd pressings unless they are of exceptional quality and rarity. I'm sure you love good music as much as me, especially when it's a 1st Press LP, direct from the master tape, as the musicians intended it to be heard (none of this "digitally remastered", weak reissued, remixed rubbish from hired hands with one eye on the mixing desk and the other on the clock! If these session men really knew how genius should sound, surely they would've been geniuses themselves?! There will only ever be one Hendrix, and that's just a tiny example).

I intend to become one of the best sellers on ebay and would like to thank all of you potential bidders for your support and taste in music!!! I strictly grade all LP's I list, visually and sonically (on a very lightweight turntable) as customer satisfaction is highly important to me, and i'll always do my very best not to let you down. Label & year : Original EMI / Columbia SCX 6258 LP , UK Stereo 1969 TRUE One Box 2nd Press!!!

Matrix's : Side A : YAX 3633 - 1, Side B : YAX 3634 - 1.

About : Ultra rare TRUE 1969 2nd Press!!! How hard to find is this!!! Many call the 2 EMI box version the 2nd press, but that is in fact the THIRD press!!! This one box version had a tiny, VERY limited run in 1969 and sold hardly anything before being changed to the common 2 box label. Less were actually made of this pressing than the 1st Blue Black press!!! You'll be glad to know it sounds IDENTICAL as the Blue Black, as this one is also pressed straight from the original master tape. INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND, especially in this condition!!! Fantastic progressive psychedelia!!! Absolutely timeless LP from this incredible band!!! An astonishing album that DESERVES to be in EVERY serious 60's / 70's record collection!!! Musicians : Dave Gilmour - Vocals / Lead Guitar, Roger Waters - Bass Guitar / Vocals, Rick Wright - Organ / Piano, Nick Mason - Drums, Syd Barrett - Vocals / Guitar and Norman Smith - Producer.

Trivia : Jugband Blues was the last thing Syd Barrett recorded with Pink Floyd, though they all helped out on his 2 solo LP's with Gilmour producing them both!

The LP :

Labels : Beautiful One Box Black and White EMI Columbia labels. Both sides are FANTASTIC with NO writing, NO real wear, and truly minimal spindle wear!!! AMAZING for a 37 year old record!!! Both must grade overall as near Excellent if not better!!!

Record : Visual - Spectacular ultra thick Vinyl!!! Nice bright, and shiny - Fantastic jet black mirror like surfaces!!! Has no nasty scratches or anything that causes rotational clicks. A bit of light marking from age and use such as light scuffs and surface wear from general use and being placed and removed from it's cover. It still looks GREAT with NOTHING going deeper than the surface!!! GREAT for a record of this age and rarity!!! Must grade overall as Very Good if not better!!!

Record : Audio - Fantastic stereo clarity and seperation!!! It really sounds great. NO loud pops, NO hissing, NO sticking, and NO distortion, just the usual light static bluesman's fag crackle in places, very minor though and doesn't come CLOSE to overshadowing the music AT ALL!!! Side 2 in particular is nearly crystal clear!!! ASTONISHING for a record of this age and rarity!!! Must grade overall as a Very Good+ if not better!!!

Sleeve : Original Garrot & Lofthouse front laminated cover!!! Very hard to find in something approaching a nice condition, most are spent and torn due to the lifestyles of the buyers of this particular LP!!! NOT this one!!! Still strong, sturdy and solid after all these years with beautiful straight edges!!! NO writing, NO stains OR colour fading!!! Only a hint of ringwear and the usual light half moon creases on the front and a few creases on the flipbacks!!! The main faces are FANTASTIC with the back picture in particular NEAR PERFECT!!! Must grade overall as Excellent minus if not better!!!

Summary : An AWESOME copy of this ASTONISHINGLY RARE ONE BOX 2nd PRESS LP!!! Don't miss out!!!

UK bidders, I accept paypal, cash (at your own risk), or postal orders. I will reluctantly accept cheques, although they will take at least a week to clear. That is why I prefer the other methods, as it means I can get your item to you faster. International bidders, I can only accept Paypal, IMO, or Bank Transfer! I only accept cash in £’s.
