HERE WE HAVE A SUPERB, UK EMI (EMDS 1003) LIMITED EDITION POSTER PACK ISSUE (July 1988) OF PINK FLOYD'S TREMENDOUSLY RICH AND POWERFUL,"A Momentary Lapse Of Reason" LP

THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL COPY WHICH STILL RETAINS THE ORIGINAL SHRINK-WRAPPING (OPENED) WITH STICKER - VERY NICE AND VERY HARD TO FIND AS THE PACKAGING (WITH ITS STICKER) IS NORMALLY DISCARDED ONCE OPENED
THE SET CONTAINS BOTH POSTERS - A SMALL GATEFOLD POSTER WHICH WRAPS AROUND THE OUTSIDE OF THE SLEEVE (which shows the band and the round screen) AND A LARGE SIX PANE POSTER (which shows the band with round screen and two lasers on each side)
AND A GUARANTEED TICKET APPLICATION FORM (for two tickets for a Pink Floyd concert at Maine Road, Manchester on August 1st or 2nd, 1988, or at Wembley Stadium, London on August 5th or 6th, 1988.)

LABELS: The picture labels are CLEAN, BRIGHT and UNMARKED with spindles only really evident when angled under a bright light
VINYL Visual: Both surfaces retain their original DEEP, GLOSSY SHEEN with some light hairlines mostly caused by the card lyric inner but these have NO major audio consequence (see detailed assessment below)
VINYL Audio: OUTSTANDING audio delivery in every respect. Covers a fantastic dynamic range from the almost silent ambient detail (such as the oars gently dipping into the water at the beginning of the LP) to the loudest crescendos with all frequencies BRIGHT and CLEAR - BEAUTIFULLY RICH, WARM and TREMENDOUSLY POWERFUL. Latter day Pink Floyd LPs can be very problematic regarding the audio quality but this copy plays to a high standard with NO groove-wear or distortion. There are NO scratches, skips or jumps and barley any clicks/pops (really, hardly any) but there is some surface noise on the quiet beginning/intros of both sides but this soon subsides as the music proper starts. (I have never actually heard a copy which doesn't play with a little crackle at these points). Must be very critically graded as EXCELLENT for audio because of this surface noise but overall, a higher grading
SLEEVE: The gatefold cover still retains the original shrink-wrapping with the info sticker, the set has been opened so the shrink-wrap is loose but it is fully intact. The sleeve itself because of its protective wrapping is in beautiful NEAR MINT condition with barely any signs of wear
INNER SLEEVE: The original lyric inner with a die-cut section on the opening edge is also in NEAR MINT condition with NO splits to any of the edges and little evidence of actually ever being handled. The LP is now housed - and will be posted in - a new inner to prevent any 'knifing' damage to the original during transit
WRAP AROUND POSTER: The small gatefold poster which originally wrapped around the outside of the sleeve underneath the shrink-wrap has some creases and crumpling to the fold but is otherwise, CLEAN, FRESH and UNMARKED. EXCELLENT
LARGE POSTER: The large six pane poster looks like it has been opened a couple of times but never been on anyones wall and it too is CLEAN, FRESH and UNMARKED. EXCELLENT+
TICKET APPLICATION FORM: The small A5 form is MINT
