I mainly specialise in rare UK 1st press vinyl and do not usually offer signed memorabilia unless I am 100% sure of the authenticity of the piece. You are bidding on a STUNNING ORIGINAL **SIGNED*** UK 1973 Harvest/EMI UK 1st Pressing of this all time classic LP by Pink Floyd! What's More it is in STUNNING Condition!!! It is the Original Thick & Chunky 1973 UK 1st PRESSING with A2//B2 1st press Matrix on the Solid Light Blue Prism Label with 'Gramophone Co. Ltd' and 'Made in Gt. Britain' centre label text and Original 1st Press Blue-Tinged Sleeve, (factory sealed at one end) Black windowed poly-lined Inner & 1st Press Posters & Stickers!!!

Each member of Pink Floyd (excluding Syd Barrett, who had already left the band by the time this record was made - but I guess all those interested in this record will know that!) has signed in big, bold silver pen of the front side of the jacket above the prism line. Clockwise from the top left corner we have David Gilmour, Richard Wright, Roger Waters and Nick Mason. All autographs are fully legible and have shown virtually NO fading over time. I have seen a few signed Pink Floyd records sold on eBay over the last few years, some more authentic than others, but none have come close to the overall presentability and condition of this remarkable piece. Being the true 1st pressing on the solid blue prism makes this a very valuable record in its own right, but when you add to this the autographs and the condition of the overall package, you have something truly special!!!

Autographs aside for the moment - this is one of the best examples of this rare 1st press I have ever come across in all my years of record collecting. The cool 1970's thick and chunky vinyl is in visually and aurally stunning condition - almost FLAWLESS and surely one the best you will ever come across. It shines with the 'just pressed' look and feel of a record that was made yesterday. I can promise you that you will NOT find another UK 1st Press DSOTM in this condition again - this is a once-in-a-lifetime-opportunity! This LP has been played only once or twice only, and only once by me for the play grade!!! The sleeve is also in tremendous condition, retaining ALL of its original factory satin finish - it looks beautiful!!! The all-important solid blue prism Centre Labels are superb with NO Peeling, NO Scribbles and NO unwanted writing of any kind. There are only a few light spindle marks. The centre spindle holes and gramophone rims are also mint!!! The vinyl looks absolutely stunning. It is vary hard to find copies of this LP that have not been played to death, on the rare occasions that the do turn up they are full of nasty scratches and gouges. This one is NOT!!! It looks absolutely pristine with NO Scratches at all!!! Side 1 is in straight EX+++ CONDITION!!! There are NO scratches No hairlines, NO scuffing, NO marks, NO warping or blemishes of any kind  - just a solitary paper-line which in NO way affects the playing of this remarkable record!!! Side 2 is very much the same with just one tiny paper line which, and two fine (barely visible) & light waxy rubs on "Money" again, which are completely non Sounding and in no way effect play. Other that these tiny paper lines this vinyl is in solid Mint- condition!!! I have thus visually graded it as EX++ just to be cautious (most would happily grade this record straight Nr Mint without a moments hesitation). I am very pleased to state that this is a record that also plays STUNNINGLY!!! These 1st pressings were straight from the masters and nothing even gets close to them today. They play VERY loud, with a deep clear warm clarity and have to be heard to be believed!!! This example PLAYS BEAUTIFULLY with NO jumps, NO pops and NO hissing!!! There is just some very low level crackle that can be heard on the quieter passages & between tracks. It is ABSOLUTELY NOT the nasty loud crackle you so often hear on UK 1st press DSOTM vinyl records, just the lightest, most unobtrusive crackle which in no way effects the full enjoyment of listening to this record (if that it what you are buying it for!!!)  Absolutely beautiful!!! Like I mentioned earlier, the thick quality pressed chunky 1970's vinyl looks and feels absolutely pristine (it is very heavy!).

Now we get to the fully autographed sleeve, and before we go any further a word of warning, as mentioned above some record dealers like to add repressed Garrod & Lofthouse sleeves to 1st Press DSOTM discs. This is a ploy to increase the overall condition of the album, thus selling it for a greater price. However, all true 1st press DSOTM sleeves have a matt blue tinge to them, they are not completely black (and usually glossy) like the later repressed sleeves, always look closely at the colour of the gatefold sleeve before buying a true UK 1st press DSOTM. This is a true 1st press sleeve, with a beautiful blue hue and one end factory sealed with a 'fold over' seal  - and what's more, it is in STUNNING Ex++ condition!!!!  It retains ALL of its factory matt sheen and could have been purchased from new yesterday!!! It has NO Ring wear, NO Tears, No Seam wear, NO Scribbles and NO unwanted writing of any kind!!!  It is completely blemish free!!! The sleeve lies perfectly FLAT with and a good NR MINT spine!!!  If I was to be really fussy I could say that there is very light wear to the corners, and a little loss of ink in the top left and bottom left corners, and a very small 3cm patch in the middle of the bottom edge that has lost a fine line of black ink (basically a very very fine stress crease - not a split) but like I said before I'm being particularly fussy here as I want to give you every detail of the record, no matter how small. Both 1st Press Posters and both 1st Press Stickers are superb!!! The stickers are nice flat and unpeeled and Ex++, and the posters are EX++ flat and folded. Of course - this 1st Press LP would not be complete without its true Original 'Black' 'Poly-lined windowed inner sleeve containing the correct Made In Great Britain' and 'Patent No's' White Text which is in Excellent condition
