Description
Prestige Bluesville 1071, "The Blues of Pink Anderson Vol. 3" with Pink Anderson, vocals and guitar; from 1963. Trident-label vinyl plays at NM with virtually no background sound. The heavy laminated jacket is in excellent shape with solid seams all around, square corners, and no ringwear, rubwear, bends, writing, or stamps; jacket back is very clean. Songs are "Titanic", "Boweevil", "John Henry", "Betty and Dupree", "Sugar Babe", "Wreck of the Old 97", "I Will Fly Away", "The Kaiser", and "In the Evening". This volume is as different from his first two Bluesville LPs as they were from each other, with more mainstream folk numbers in the mix.Shipping is $4.00 media mail, $8.00 priority mail within the continental U.S.; $16.00 regular airmail to the U.K., Europe, Japan, Korea, Australia, and New Zealand. A few record labels such as Folkways may be slightly more expensive to ship overseas. Additional LPs in a single package are $1.00 additional within U.S. and Canada, $2.00 elsewhere. For overseas shipments, registered mail is strongly recommended at $11.75 extra. Many old records are practically antiques and should be treated that way. This LP will be packaged with the record inside an inner sleeve but outside the jacket; both are placed inside a sealed outer sleeve and shipped inside a special oversized handcrafted mailer with padding on all sides. It is designed thick enough not to be bent in transit and strong enough to withstand a drop from a second-story window. More than two LPs together may be mailed inside a heavy Bags Unlimited pizza-style box. Your LP should arrive in the same condition as on the day it was shipped. All used LPs are play-graded on a VPI turntable with Audioquest tonearm and Grado cartridge.
