PIL / PUBLIC IMAGE LTD    METAL BOX   

orig UK 1979 1st issue limited edition complete package with novel embossed metal tin 

with printed paper tracklist, four white dividers & METAL 1 sticker on rear of the tin  Matrix's A/1-B/1-C/1-D/1-E/1-F    

orig UK vinyl LPX3 45rpm METAL 1 Virgin Stereo 1979 - tin cover has usual finger marks, tracklist has light foxing, all 3 LP's very nice clean vinyl's 

finally selling some of my punk/post post today bought by me at time of issue, taped once (C60 generation!) and placed back in the cupboard till today

credit John Lydon for the vision, it didnt sell well at the time as punks still wanted 1-2-3-4 chords, but this really was C21st millenium music made 30 years ago, particularly Levine's guitar runs and Jah Wobble's mighty bass
