RECORD CONDITION:

This is an immaculate, NEAR MINT record that has amazingly minimal signs of age and use, it is quite probable that this album, like the others in this outstanding collection I have to auction, has only ever been played once or twice if that! The whole surface of the disc has a lovely clean shiny appearance, displaying a pure deep gloss that can only be achieved on barely handled records. A close inspection under strong light reveals nothing other than one or two of the faintest paper scuffs. The labels are clean and the spindle area has virtually no wear whatsoever, there are absolutely no traces here that this record has ever been on a deck. The audio clarity too is quite sensational, playing with the kind of high definition crystal clear sound that only comes from brand new records. There really is nothing other than one or two of the faintest pops in a couple of places, the type that can easily occur on new records, overall this is an album that achieves as close to an AS NEW condition that is possible for an old record to get.

COVER CONDITION:

This is a shining example of a really well cared for fully laminated, flip-back cover that just has to grade as a NEAR MINT. The whole sleeve has no un-sticking anywhere and has remained completely intact, the album artwork has remained bright with clearly defined colours, it is totally unblemished. The spine is still straight and un-creased while the top and bottom edges are smooth and totally un-scuffed. There are no creases or folds, and there is absolutely no ring-wear – even the inevitable faint circular impression of a record is hard to see unless holding the cover up to light. In summary, this is an album cover that is in as great a condition as you could hope to find an item that is not brand new!

Our gradings are based on Record Collector magazines Rare Record Price Guide system (Mint/Excellent/Very Good/Good/Fair) and we always steer on the side of caution with these (for example if we have any element of doubt about grading a record EX we will always go VG to ensure the eventual buyer has a pleasant surprise!)

We offer money back to buyers with legitimate complaints; for example if the item has been damaged in transit; however if the buyer has simply decided they do not like the music, or they recklessly contest the grading with no firm evidence then we do expect them to keep the record!
