The intense score from UNA VITA VIOLENTA (1962), one of the famous late Italian neo-realistic movie, testify the intense jazz collaboration between PIERO PICCIONI and trumpeter NUNZIO ROTONDO, a reference point  in the ranks of the Orchestra Piccioni  in the early '60s

Jacket :    EX

Light cardboard laminated cover,in EX condition.

Lamination on both sides show many wrinkles, mostly due to a manufacturing defect with has affected most of the copies of the same record I've examined; NO wear on spine and seams, corners with almost NO ring wear on front/back, very clean cover.

Please, look at my jacket scan.

Vinyl :   NM

Under a strong light the shiny vinyl is basically NM, probably played a couple of times only, with NO apparently NO flaws or visual imperfections whatsoever .

Catalogue/Label :

LP CAM Cms 30-041, original small deep groove, mono Italian 1st and only pressing, 1962.

Dark grey labels with silver and red lettering show no wear and bear no marks around the spindle hole.

GRADING CODE

Grading is VISUAL, under a bright light.

NM  (Near Mint): Record has been opened, and probably played, but is in impeccable condition. I do not use "mint".

EX   (Excellent): Has signs of use or storage, but still considered top collection quality. Jackets may display some very light wear; vinyl may have a few light sleeve marks only visible in the highest light. Sound will full and clear, with little if any noise (NOTE, some records are just pressed poorly).

VG+ (Very Good Plus): Still a great copy but has a bit more wear. Vinyl may have some light scuffs or scratches, but nothing deep. Jacket may have some ringwear or seamwear. Sound should be great, with minimal if any noise.

VG  Very Good): A great play copy but clearly used. Vinyl will display many hairline scuffs or scratches, but will play with a tolerable amount of noise. Jacket may have splits and wear but will not be falling apart.

VG-(Very Good Minus): A used or worn copy, that has not been taken good care of. Vinyl will have many scuffs or scratches, but play through enjoyably despite audible background noise. Covers will have tears, splits, writing, or other issues.

VG+ Fair, Poor: A very rough copy. Will play through without skipping unless otherwise noted, although records of this grade are sold AS-IS.
