PHIL UPCHURCH Darkness, Darkness 12" Vinyl LP Blue Thumb 1972 - MINT Condition
Upchurch started his career working with the Kool Gents, the Dells, and the Spaniels before going on to work with Curtis Mayfield, Otis Rush, and Jimmy Reed. (His association with Kool Gents member Dee Clark would continue, including playing guitar on Clark's 1961 solo hit "Raindrops".) He then returned to Chicago to play and record with Woody Herman, Stan Getz, Groove Holmes, B.B. King, and Dizzy Gillespie.
These LPs we have rated as some of the best condition you will ever find. They have come from a private family collector, many of the LPs for sale from this collection have only ever been a handful of times, each.  Each album when played, was catalogued; when it was played, which side and how often.
They have NOT been touched or played since 1980. Stored upright in special LP storage cases. Stored in a heated home nearly 40 years.  There will of course be the signs of natural ageing of the covers and inner sleeves but the records themselves will be virtually mark free vinyl.
The maybe occasional marks; such as Spindle marks, or wear on some spines of the outer sleeve. Some inner sleeves have a small amount of written pen detail as part of the cataloging process made by the original owner/collector. Please understand & respect this.
Vinyl Condition: Mint - virtually unplayed Sleeve: Mint, clean with one or two aged related wear signs

UK Postage: Royal Mail Tracked 48 £3.50 or Tracked 24 £4.50.
Europe Tracked £6.00
