This is the ULTIMATE SPANISH RARITY, virtually unknown to anyone until it was comped on the recent "Atenshion! Refleshion! Spanish Psychedelic Grooves" comp by ace diggers at Hundergrum Records. Hidden inside what looks like a Spanish flamenco EP, you can find "El Samurai", a MONSTER HEAVY -FUNK- GROOVE- RUMBA track charged with INSANE OPEN LOUD DRUMS BREAKS!, bizarre vocals, oriental flute and deep bass line...it sounds as if taken from any B-movie from Turkey in the 70s...
Recorded by the mysterious Pedro González, a jazz & rumba musician and released on the tiny Boa-Audio & Video label from Madrid, a private label where artists paid to get his record pressed for promotional purposes. These kind of records were only distributed among radio, clubs and discotheques Djs, never sold at shops at the time.
